If you have Apple laptop, get a keyboard protector back in 2011 I didn't have a keyboard protecter and cost me $450 to have it fixed because a tiny drop of water fell on the keyboard. To me personally a laptop keyboard protector is a must have.

I ordered two, one clear and the colored one. I unfortunately only received one. I like it very much and it's nice protecting my keyboard but since I have the fingerprint recognition feature active in my computer, I have to uncover that part constantly. Minor issues, but the biggest one is not having received the clear cover and I was charged for it. Bummer!

Fits my Dell Inspiring 16 Plus Model : 7640 Ice Blue (Bleu) perfectly. I just love it.

This is a perfect fit for my laptop, but the cover comes off sometimes. It’s not a big deal because I would much rather have something protecting my keys than not. It’s pretty doable and doesn’t create too much of a problem. Overall 3/5.

Generally, the texture is not very good, but the position can match. It's not very convenient to open the fingerprint when using it.

We made sure this was the right keyboard cover for our Dell Inspiron 14 5440 so that it would like up with the specific configuration. We chose clear so that the light of the backlit keys would show easily. It is working nicely and I think the only adaptation is to make good purposeful contact with each key instead of just barely touching them. Not a difficult adjustment for us who are used to that. We tend to snack while using this laptop, so this keeps the keys and under them clean. Easy to peel off and reattach.
