Aloha! The EASY way to assemble: FIRST: Install horizontal bars into the large vertical 2x2 frame farthest away from you. SECOND: Install the longest vertical bar. THRID: Install the next longest vertical bar alternating on each side of the longest bar and do the same with each shorter bar until you have all vertical and horizontal bars in their perspective square holes. Get some extra 3/4" white screws, (Truss head.) FOURTH use the screws supplied AND the Truss head screws to fasten the cross members together but DO NOT fasten the cross members nearest you on the side that is not yet fastened to the other 2/2" support post. FIFTH: Have a helper stand up the side that you have screwed together on the first post which is now side down on the floor, using gravity to keep the horizontal posts engaged. SIXTH: Have your helper line up those horizontal bars on the second post and use a rubber mallet to lightly pound that second post onto those horizontal bars. Make sure you start at the top on the Winchester Trellis. and make your way to the bottom large bar at the bottom.Once everything is together use your screws to fasten it all together. This will make your trellis strong once your plant starts climbing up the trellis. I use those metal fence post the you have to pound into the ground and fasten them with screws on the back side of those 2x2 posts to help support the trellis in an upright position. LASTLY: Use gorilla gel glue on those pieces at the top and secure in place. WHEW!!!!!!.........TAKE CARE.....ALOHA, Keoni

This is an awesome trellis! I initially bought two, then ended up installing a total of 8 along my fence to support fast-growing Petrea vines (like Wisteria, but do well in Florida weather) that grow tall and thick and provide privacy from my neighbors (whose houses are only 15 feet from mine). The trellises are taller than my 6’ fence, and support even taller vines. I live in Florida, so tropical vines grow fast, but climbing roses would also be gorgeous in any climate.. The trellises are over 5 years old and still look sturdy. They even survived 2 hurricanes last year!. I bought 2 spares for later, just in case. Unfortunately, I lost the hardware in one of them and need to figure out where to get a replacement…

This is my 3rd trellis. The other two are nearly 10 years old and still look brand new.

A little hard to put together alone but a breeze after step 4. perfect for where I needed it to go and it looks good 👍

Second one for us. I ordered a second trellis because the first ne was such a success. Needed another for another wall. Easy for me (female) to put together and my son (the tall one) put it up on the wall. Plants doing great! Will be planting Carolina jasmine on this one .
