Kamui have revolutionised chalk. Each cube is made of very fine chalk particles which maximises the chalk's surface area on the tip allowing for maximum grip. In application it feels smooth and slightly oily and it applies very evenly. In play it is very grippy which enables you to play with more extreme spin whilst almost eliminating mis-cueing. 0.98 beta is the softer of the two grades which allows the chalk to stay on the tip longer. Great chalk and brilliant seller service but....
At time of purchase, this was the best chalk I had ever used for English pool. BUT.... what a mess it leaves on the cue ball, your hand, and the cue. Got some complaints from opposing players. Wonderful gripping power offset by the marking power. Go for Taom chalk which superb or Kamui Roku. Roku is probably the king of them all, however, with a kingly price!

Quality at a price.
Love this chalk, it covers the cue tip smoothly and does make a difference when connecting with the cue ball. Expensive, but like everything else you pay for quality. Would recommend it to those who are looking to improve ball striking etc.

this really is the best chalk I've used it's so smooth when you apply it stays on for a very long time I can quite easily get 20 shots before re chalking I cannot recommend this chalk enough and don't let the price put you off you won't regret it

Too oily.cue ball looks the moon after a few shots.? Shame really as it's not a cheap item.Not worth the price.
