A fun approach to the concept of recycling

A lovely book bridging the gap between fiction and non fiction for tiny tots

I am a childminder and I bought this book to help with my theme of recycling. The children have really enjoyed looking at the journey of the bottle, and each page gives us lots of things to discuss and give them things to think about.They are made aware of all the things that can be recycled and made into other useful goods. It has been a good book for our recycling theme

The children really enjoyed sharing this book, they talked about safety finding glass on the beach and what they would do. We were doing a project on recycling and this book was very useful. We also used the recipe for making paper at the back of the book. This book will be used over and over again.
