Thank you for the question, one I've not encountered before. As long it is dry, not in a high humidity environment, it is fine. My only concern is if it is humid, and the capsule contents is drawing in moisture it could result in mold/mildew/bacterial growth. A very dry environment is great, and of no concern. Please consider the storage environment to reach a conclusion on why it is getting hard once removed from the bottle for several days.

Not sure where you are getting your information from, it's not "two mushrooms" please carefully review the product label graphics, and the informational verbiage! Also, we publicly note that we do not break out the ratio as noted in the fourth bullet point: "Specific, *proprietary ratio* mix".
