Not durable don't buy
After reading about bias lighting online I bought this to experiment with it on my 75" TV. The good is that this kit is very cheap and if you don't like bias lighting you have minimal money invested. When I received the kit I was initially very impressed. It comes with a remote that lets you turn it on / off and adjust the brightness. The kit even remembers your last setting if you power it off an on. Now the bad. My TV was big enough that one kit did not work, so I bought two. The instructions state that you can cut it anywhere to adjust the length. I used one entire kit to cover as much of the back of the TV as I could. I then filled in the remaining space with the other kit. Bad idea. The power regulation is terrible with the kit and with different length of lights the brightness is dramatically different. Fortunately I was able to use the brightness adjust feature to match the brightness between the two different strings of lights. The kit installs like tape. Peel the backing off and stick to back of TV. The glue is terrible and stayed stuck to the back of my TV for 8 hours before it all fell off. In order to get the lights to stay on the back of the TV I had to use gaffers tape. After around 4 hours of use one of the strings flashed brightly and now does not respond to the remote. The broken string is stuck and the last brightness set and does not turn on and off anymore.

Good idea, poor description, leading to disappointment.
Couple things here:Bought the largest length, and placed about 4 inches on from the edge of my 55inch tv. Not enough, and can barely see the light behind the tv and would most likely need about about 25 more inches to get the desired (pictured) effect. The remote controlling the brightness is a nice touch but would never turn the brightness down otherwise we’d never see the light.The USB port on the Phillips tv worked initially, when we had it off the wall and plugged in testing it, but when we put it back up and plugged our Directv and PlayStation 4 in, it no longer worked and needed to be plugged into a wall with a phone charging box.Instructions are very poor, it says to cut along a white line to turn the strip at 90 degrees. There are no white lines on the strip, so I just sort of curved it not wanting to take the chance of destroying the whole strip.I was really excited for this product, and really wanted to like it. But unfortunately I was disappointed.

Relieves eyes strain at night, and just looks cool
Overall: The light looks really cool once you put it on. It turns on and off with the TV.Cons: It wasn't super sticky. Make sure your tv is completely free of dust or anything like that because it will make it harder to work with. The light kit uses the one usb port on my tv so I had to use a USB splitter to plug the lights and my chromecast into it.Pros: Just long enough for my 43" tv. Plug and play into my TV's USB port.

Remote stopped working after 4 months
I like the product very much, but the remote stopped working after 4 months. I think the remote itself is working but I'm guessing the receiver unit is malfunctioning? It looks like the receiver unit could theoretically be replaced?UPDATE: Seller contacted me to suggest replacing battery, which I did. It didn't resolve situation, so I replied to the seller's email and I'm posting this update. Seller originally offered to take further steps if battery did not resolve problem. Stay tuned!

Very good lighting
Great accent lighting. The remote has several options to adjust the lighting. The lights is powered by USB so if can plug right into the back or side of your tv. This light is worth the price. I plan to purchase another one for the tv in our bedroom.

Does not bond
Love what the concept it. Looks great anywhere you run the lights, however they do not stick to any surface. We used them for under the kitchen cabinets as well as behind the tv. We had to use a lot of pieces of tape.

Stopped working After 1 hour
The remote stopped working after an hour of use and it "flashes" every few minutes, which is irritating.

Not good
The adhesive doesnt stick, you cant make right angles. this product is useless I returned it right after it was deliveried.
