Vegetarian-friendly, gluten and dairy-free probiotic supplement that ticks all the boxes.
I’ve been taking probiotics for a while now to support what I hope is a healthy diet, and the Sigma Biotics Probiotic Complex looks great. Each vegetarian-friendly capsule contains 10 billion live bacteria from 18 strains, including L. acidophilus and Bifidobacterium. They’re gluten- and dairy-free, making them a solid option for anyone with dietary restrictions. The once-daily capsules are easy to take and cost just 30 pence a day. A 60-day pack is also available if you’d prefer to save money on a double sized pack.

They Work!!
I always use probiotics but do not notice any real benefit, so I decided to try this Probiotic Complex as it specifically says it provides IBS Support. The dosage is one a day and I started taking them during a particularly bad flare up and did not notice any appreciable difference for a few days. Then things started getting better and for the last week, my digestive system is the best it has been for over a year. I can’t believe this is coincidence as I have done nothing else that is appreciably different. The current price is £8.49 for a 30-day supply. This is around 50% less than I pay for my usual (high quality) probiotics and represents incredible value for money. I will definitely be transferring from my usual brand to these in future.

Helps the Gut Microbiome to help you
I used to suffer from IBS when I was a teenager, but did not really know what it was back then. I have had to have several courses of antibiotics lately for different things, and guess what, my guts are all over the place once more. Apparently there is such a thing as post-antibiotic IBS. I have been reading Dr Mosely’s book about gut health where he explains how the gut biome is easily upset and destroyed by antibiotics and various aspects of our diet. He does not advocate supplements and instead suggests we would be better off changing various elements of the diet. However, sometimes supplements can help. For a short term measure whilst I continue to recover and work out what it is exactly I need to do in the future, I think these capsules have been a great help. I feel better after only a few days and would recommend to anyone who is prescribed antibiotics, or is unable to eat properly to consider these type of capsules which contain 10 billion CFU, 18 strain premium probiotic complex. For peace of mind they are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free, GMO-free, GMP certified, and HACCP rated.

Effective, big range of strains but a shade pricey.
I used to think probiotics were just an unnecessary fad, until I started taking them, now I think very differently. This product contains an unusually extensive cocktail of bacteria, which is good as a diverse flora is healthy. They are easy enough to take and a months supply. They are rather vaguely made in 'The EU' I would prefer to know where exactly.I was going to score down as they are not cheap at £10 a month for a probiotic, but it scrapes the 5th star as its got such a huge range of bacteria it must require quite a bit of cost and effort to acquire all the strains and combine. No adverse effects have been noted.

Work for me and reasonable value at £10 for a months' supply.
They keep my digestion ticking over nicely. The usual size capsule. 10 billion CFU across 18 strains. A 1 year shelf life.

Decent
A reasonably decent amount of friendly bacteria, but a little on the pricey side.

Helped My Stomach Stop Acting Like a Drama Queen
As a 43-year-old dad running on minimal sleep thanks to a teething baby, the last thing I need is my gut throwing tantrums too. I picked these up hoping to sort out some long-standing bloating and, let’s be honest, a bit of IBS grumbling that tends to kick off when I so much as look at a takeaway menu. Been taking one a day with breakfast for a few weeks now, and I’ve noticed a proper difference. Not saying I’ve suddenly developed the stomach of a twenty-year-old, but it’s definitely calmer down there. Less bloating, fewer emergency situations, and generally more comfortable throughout the day. I’m not usually one for supplements – always feel like I’m being conned by fancy labels – but this one’s earned a spot in the cupboard. The fact it’s veggie-friendly is a nice bonus, and I didn’t get any weird aftertaste or side effects. Just a quiet, happy gut and a bit more confidence when leaving the house without scoping out the nearest loos first.Pros:Genuinely helped ease bloating and IBS-type symptomsOne-a-day – no faffing aroundVegetarian capsulesNo nasty taste or after-effectsSeemed to kick in fairly quickly (within a week for me)Cons:Capsule’s a touch large if you’re not a fan of swallowing pillsBit pricey for a month’s supply, but worth it for the resultsIf your digestive system has the mood swings of a toddler denied a snack, this might be the thing that gets it behaving again. Worked for me – and that’s saying something these days.
