Note that I did receive good customer service and a full refund. These are probably good hoverboards, however I didn't have time to take a change on a Christmas gift...Received, plugged in to charger for 5 hours, gets low battery alarm and shuts down immediately. Never worked. Bad quality control and/or not protected enough in shipping (Styrofoam packing inside was busted in several key places).At first, going through normal return procedure on Amazon, I was going to need to pay return shipping!!Contacted cho product customer support and they did end up sending me a pre-paid label.All-in-all, the build quality is noticeably lower than the brand I bought (on sale at about the same $$) to replace this one, and the shipping packaging was much better. Christmas will be joyful in the end...

I bought this for my son for Christmas. In one day he mastered it and absolutely loves it. CAUTION!! DO NOT let your children ride this in circles. They can get going and have difficulty stopping and my co workers grandson litwrally broke his arm as a result of exactly that. My son is 10 then and an excellent listener so when I told him not to do that and why, he has not. Also, if you let your child ride this on the street, I STRONGLY recomnend they wear elbow, knee pads and a helmet. It can fo up to 6 mph and thats the speec of a light jog. Power walking is 4.5 mph so it can get pretty fast. It takes 3 hours to charge for 1 hour of ride time so make sure to charge before presenting as a gift to inpatient children and that they stay close by to home so they dont get stranded somewhere carrying this heavy thing back home. It comes with a back pack carrier but that doesnt make it easier to carry. Lastly, it is blue tooth capable but Im afraid my kud would break whatever device he is carrying around to listen to music so we dont use that feature. Used responible, its a fun, safe and enjoyable product. It can hold up to 200lbs so mom and dad can give it a whirl as well.

I ordered this product two years ago as my first hoverboard. The first problem was the delivery of a black hoverboard instead of a white one, which I had originally ordered. The hoverboard was pretty nice. The light were gorgeous and it had good battery power life. It was very low to the ground, however, and was easily prone to scratches on the bottom. I had it for six months when the second problem occurred. I take very nice care of my possessions, so I know this was not a problem due to not taking care of it properly. While I was riding the hoverboard, it usually beeps right before it dies, and it did die while I was riding it. I brought it back to charge it and plugged it in. The next day when I went to go get it to ride it, it was still dead. At this point I was expecting it to charge back up as it had done in the past but it remained dead the next few days I charged it consecutively. After inspecting it and finding nothing wrong expect for a useless hoverboard we reached out to the company. Customer service was decent, and we returned it and got a new one a few MONTHS later. This was an entirely different model than I had ordered first but they changed it without informing us we were getting a didn’t one. The new hoverboard worked very nicely, and the sturdiness was great. It lasted a good deal of time (around a year maybe) and then it began not working again. The new one I kept inside all the time so no water damage has caused this issue. It went from lasting a hour and a half to not even a lap around my house which is not much at all. The hoverboard charger will only charge it enough for a 90 pound boy to ride it for 15 seconds. We still have the hoverboard and are unsure of what to do next since we received it a year ago. Overall, this may seem like an amazing deal for a hoverboard gift for your grandkid or kid, but you will not get anything good out of it. They keep changing the models so whatever the model, it’s still the same quality: cheep, not long lasting battery wise, and not worth a waste of your time or money. Buyer beware: it may seem like a great deal, but look for something else for a quality hoverboard.

My kids love this and they ride it everywhere around the house and even to take out the trash. Something to make taking out the trash more fun for them lol

My 8 year old will not stay off of this. He loves it and amazingly, picked up on riding it very quickly. I knocked off a star because he accidentally crashed into the couch and it knocked the light cover in on the front. It was a quick and easy fix, I just felt like it shouldn't have been able to be pushed in that easy. He rides in for probably 2-2.5 he's a day and charges it at night ... He hasn't rode it for a lengthy timeframe yet (usually 20-30 min at a time) so I can't say for sure how long the battery lasts.

My 7yo loves this Christmas present the most out of all his presents! He was quite wobbly at first but got the hang of it as the day went on and now a few weeks later, he's zipping around like a pro! I will say though, the battery could last just a tad longer, but all in all, it's a great purchase and made my boy very happy!
