This little book is beautifully written, full of accurate facts and illustrated with care. An excellent introduction to the topic.

Lovely little book with lots of information and good illustrations!

Outlines history of orchards in mainly England, with reference to social, economic, and environmental aspects, with a final chapter dealing with the present day. Well illustrated, but all too short, and with rather too few references for further study or the checking of sources. However, still a good, broad introduction to the subject.
