Love this product and the interface. I had the Nest camera setup and finally said enough with Nest camera prices. I decided to try the Girafit and am amazed at the clarity/resolution, ease of setup and the Girafit app as it is straightforward to setup and use. Perfect product with a great great price. Will definitely replace my all my $250 Nest cameras over the next year.

This camera is awesome. The picture quality has far exceeded my expectations. Fast and easy setup. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a security camera.

VERY easy to install and to set up. I put one where I can see my driveway and my entrance. It detects the cars that are passing by, so the reach is great!The other I put out in the lanai facing in to watch my dog when I’m out ( I just keep it in privacy mode when I’m home). With this one I get to watch the entrance door as well.The only bad thing is that 1 of the mounting stickers was damaged but there plenty more to choose.

Installation fairly easy, didn’t have a clue how this was going to work or install . Very satisfied with the performance and the quality of the pictures and videos . I’ve had both cameras going for 3 days , the only problem for me is trying to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. I live on a busy street and the first two nights it’s overwhelmed me with pictures of moving vehicles. Worth every penny. Thumbs up

Security risk with this device: It disconnects from wifi each time we get out of range, even when we just take the trash out or go get our mail. When we try to reconnect, it does NOT require us to enter our wifi credentials. Instead, it displays them (network name with password) and tells us to click "yes" to confirm. This means that anyone who gains access to our phone or hacks our phone or the camera can easily gain access to our wifi. That's a security risk we're not willing to take.And even after confirming the wifi credentials, it does not immediately reconnect. We have to turn our phone off and then back on for the app to reconnect. That's a pain in the neck.Other issues:(1) If you choose to record to a microSD card, the app repeatedly pesters you to subscribe to the cloud service.(2) Even though we set our to record locally, ours repeatedly defaulted to cloud. We had to manually switch it to local storage to view recordings.(3) The included instructions are minimal and printed in such tiny print that we could not read them, even with 20-20 vision.(4) We set ours to alert on people only. That only worked about 75% of the time. At other times it alerted on vehicles or for no apparent reason at all.(5) The app is only available for cell phones. Unlike a number of other security cams, there is no app for computers or tablets.It is made in China.We agree with others that the image quality--both day and night--is excellent. But the security risk and frequent disconnects render it useless for us. We disconnected it, deleted our account, and are returning it.

I waited before writing this review so that I can test this camera.I’m really happy with this purchase. It was easy to set up, using my WiFi and window placement to was seamless.The camera view is way better than other window cameras I’ve used, especially the night view. It’s also cheaper for the monthly or annual plan. Just like most other programs, you can amend, edit things like alerts and detection settings.P.S. this is tied to an app so you will have to download for setup.

However, there’s still room for a few improvements and potential enhancements.Pros:Easy Installation : The suction mount is strong and secure, making setup simple and tool-free.High-Quality Video : The 2K resolution delivers sharp and detailed footage, significantly better than standard 1080p.Clear Night Vision : Unlike regular IR cameras like Arlo, which can struggle when mounted behind glass, the Girafit W150 is designed for window use and performs exceptionally well even at night.Wide Field of View : The lens captures a broad area, covering large spaces like driveways and yards effectively.Reliable Motion Detection: The motion alerts are timely, ensuring I don’t miss any activity.Flexible Storage Options : The camera supports microSD cards of up to 256 GB for local storage, which is a generous capacity. Alternatively, users can subscribe to the cloud storage service for $99/year, which supports up to 4 devices.Great Customer Support : Shawn and Freya from customer service were extremely helpful, promptly addressing my questions and concerns.Observations:While the night vision is generally clear, I’ve noticed some blurring when a person walks toward the edge of the video frame. Parts of their figure, such as a leg, may appear missing. This could be due to glare or distortions caused by my double-pane window.Glare from sunlight occasionally affects daytime footage, which could be mitigated with a built-in glare-reduction feature.Areas for Improvement:Higher Resolution Options : It would be great to see Girafit introduce a 4K or even higher-resolution option for more detailed monitoring in the future.Cloud Storage Enhancements : Free cloud storage, like what Eufy offers, would be a fantastic addition, making it easier and more affordable to store and access footage.Motion Alert Enhancements: Including a thumbnail image of the person’s face in motion alerts would save time when identifying who triggered the alert.AI Features: Adding AI capabilities to track specific individuals or filter alerts for human activity would make the camera more advanced and user-friendly.Audio Limitations : While the audio works well for chatting with people indoors, it does not capture sound. Adding this feature would enhance its versatility.

Just purchased one to replace a YI camera I've had for years. YI keeps inserting ads and it takes 30 seconds to get a camera view-even though ads are turned off. Now in the trash. This little camera is great and has good night-time vision. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a way to turn the blue power light off, which shines brightly in the window at night. So far, I am pleased and may order another one.
