Worth the watch
This is probably the best movie that I have seen in a long time. Juliette Lewis is outstanding in her role. Peter Dinklage is pretty awesome himself. This is just a good film and worth your time. I appreciate anything without apocalyptic zombies now a days. Good films are hard to find nowadays. This is definitely one of the good ones, so you may want to watch it twice. I did.

Indie Western With an Amazing Cast & Director
The film was so good it made me want to read the book. If you like Westerns and Indie Films then this film is for you. An amazing cast. ALL the actors are top-notch and do wonderful things with each moment in the film. Peter and Juliette are always amazing--just really really great at what they do. The whole thing falls apart if those two specifically aren't up to par, but they are magnificent. The rest of the cast, I hate to lump together because each and every role was done to perfection. Great writing and directing, beautifully shot and done extremely well. I wish people would have seen this film in the theaters.

Riveting Western Movie - Don't Pass on it..
Don't need Hollywood anymore! Prime knocks this movie out of the park.. Suspenseful, adult humor, touching, brutal and realistic. Any amazing movie if you like Westerns. Actors were top notch!

Gnarly and fun!
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect here but Juliett Lewis was terrific. My wife’s not into Westerns but she enjoyed it as well. I won’t say anything more so you can enjoy it, but this was worth checking out.

Horrible adaptation
I read the book and was excited to see the film. Shorty and Jack were exactly as I'd pictured them in my mind's eye and so was the trading post. The rest was so far from the book: Film was set in the snow, book was in Texas heat. Shorty and Eustace operate on a motorized hearse in the film and only on horse back in the book. Cut Throat Bill is a WOMAN in the move and a a large brooding man in the book. The critical ferry scene from the book was non-existent and the ending was complete nonsense in the film. Only saving grace was Papa Het!

Great Western with some Twists
One of the better Westerns that have been released recently.
