Love this one for tool sharpening- after trying others
I’m in love with this tool. I use it to view the edges of knives or tools that I’m sharpening and it works perfectly for that. You can see the scratch lines quite easily. I tried a different one first and couldn’t get it to stay put and the viewing screen wasn’t large enough- this one is the perfect size for most uses. The screen is bright, it’s easy to use. The battery dies pretty quickly but that isn’t a problem for me and you can use it while it’s plugged in. I haven’t uploaded saved pictures yet so don’t know about connectivity.

Great for viewing trichomes.
I got this to view trichomes on my cannabis plants after trying a jewelers loupe that was just way too small to use comfortably.I'm happy to say this is perfect for doing exactly that. It provides a nice clear picture on screen and focus is easy to achieve. It could benefit by having some way of triggering it to take a photo without using the on device buttons because it does make it very difficult to take a picture that's in focus. But if you just want to look it's great.Great value for the money. It functions exactly as I need. Build quality is good. Made of plastic.

Solid, buuuut
Only fell short of 5 stars because as simple as the product may be, no “manual”. I ordered thinking this was adjustable magnification (my fault), went through the buttons, nothing. 10 minutes on google looking around only to realize my mistake. Not a huge deal, but yknow. Aside from that, light is adjustable. It is bright. Screen is clear, magnifies nicely but you do basically need to be right on top of whatever you’re looking at. So the sample cards they give you (nice touch by the way), will absolutely come in nice. With that said, I’m not too confident in its use for living plants, my application, or really anything alive unless absolutely stationary. Just not a big lens to be dealing with movement. Does connect to the PC easily, and I do love that it came with a memory card so it’s out of the box ready except maybe the charge, I plugged it in when I first got it without checking that. All in all for the money if it fits your needs, I’d say it’s worth the money. I do collect coins I come across, and old bills so I guess I could hang onto it for that, but for my purchase purpose? I probably wasted my money, but my daughters are little and they always like new toys, so I have some options. Not one to return a decent item if the only noticeable flaw stemmed from my own mistake speed reading the description

Amazing actually...
This unit provides really great images which you can save on the included Micro-SD card then transfer to your computer for viewing on your large monitor (if you dare lol).A nice feature is that you can remove the clear ring around the bottom of the scope (simply twist and pull it off) so you can obtain the correct focus on non flat/curved items like when looking at a splinter on your hand or foot. One thing this unit is not good for is examining PC boards from the top (component) side of the board because the components stick up from the board making it impossible to get the scope close enough to the board surface to get in focus. It is good however for inspection of the back side (the flat soldered side) of PC boards where there are no components that interfere with the scope getting close enough to get good focus. It's also very handy for examining splinters or cuts you may get from time to time because it provides it's own light source so you can really see which way the splinter went in so you can determine how to remove it with the least amount of damage to the surrounding skin. it's also great for inspecting cuts to make sure you removed any dirt from the wound. The photo you see in my review is of a common "banana fruit gnat" that show up a couple of days after bringing home bananas without rinsing them properly. These gnats are super tiny, but I managed to trap a tired one under the scope and took this photo under low power base magnification.Really an outstanding value which has become my everyday go-to magnifying device because it just works.BTW- it plugs in to USB-C to recharge and includes an 8GB micro-SD card for photo storage/transfer to laptop/PC.

small compact and easy to use
I bought this for my mother who is legally blind. She can still see but has to have everything magnified. What she loves about this is its small enough she can carry in her purse to help her read things like prescription bottles calendar dates and menus. She has larger magnifiers but this one is small and compact and very easy to use. It made a big difference in her life. I recommend this for anyone with a seeing disability

Blurry pictures
I bought this for my son for Christmas. Somethings you can see fine but others you can not even see what it is since it is so blurry.

Nice Digital Magnifying Glass
Nice, has a light, can store pics, low price and many other functions. I use it for bee keeping to see eggs. Great for coin and stop collecting. Easy to transfer pic to your computer.

Really a waste of money.
I bought this for my wife to take with her when she goes thrift store shopping. She buys a ton of jewelry there and I'm always looking for a good magnifier to help her out. I thought this unit was the answer. But I was wrong. It is not as small as I thought it might be by the pictures. So it takes up alot of room in her purse which she hates.. Also there is no focus on this unit. You have to stick everything all the way up inside the glass ring and when you do get it focus the screen and what your looking at is so small you will need another magnifier to see what your looking at in the screen.I guess this would make a good toy for student to play with I guess.. But if your looking for a magnifier to use for work or something like my wife uses it for you need to look at another type of unit..
