A repeatedly occurring cracking or jumping of the chain, loud switching noises, or insanely fast wear of the new chain, or the new sprocket, occurs whenever only one component is changed. In around 30 years of our company, we can no longer tell how often customers are surprised that it doesn't run even though the chain has been changed. Our answer: they both run off to each other and if you change only one component, that doesn't work. That's why it is sensible and then calm.
