It’s serving its purpose

Stopped working after a month and can’t return it

I think for the price this is really good but it is a little flimsy tho it heats up really quickly tho and is very quiet

I've never had our even thought of a bit dryer. My generation used newspaper... We all had them in those days!! And we were told not to use heat to dry leather items as it would cause them to crack.But since I'm out so much every day, with wet shoes, boots, hats etc, I leapt at the chance to try this.And it looks rather cool. White box with 2 angle adjustable arms that you put the wet things on. As others have mentioned the whole thing is very lightweight so you can't use this for tall boots. Wellies cause it to flip over. So ankle boots and shorter items.It only has one temperature. It does have timer options.It doesn't blast out hot air like a hairdryer but it's more of a gentle heating process which is a good thing in my view.It also has a UV light which is blue. This is meant to disinfect which is a brilliant idea. No way to test but it can't hurt and may sanitise shoes inside, hats and gloves which can't be or don't get reassured enough.I'm not qualified to comment on electrical safety. The plug is very small. I will continue using this for wet gear but never unattended.So cannot recommend not knowing if it's safe but it does dry items more quickly. Max heating temp is 48 degrees Celsius but don't know if clothing items and shoes store heat and get hot enough to combust.So it works but caveat emptor.Hope that helps a bit!

Cosy and works very well for wet footwear

I only just got around to testing this, and found that it has one of those ridiculous miniature plugs that are definitely not legal. It's so small you could easily touch the live/neutral pins while unplugging it. The earth pin is sheathed, which actually means the circuit is not earthed if it is plugged all the way in, as UK sockets have the earth connection nearest the opening so that any plug even hanging out of the socket should be earthed. Even the pins are the wrong size, so they jiggle in the socket, which could cause damage. Everything that could be wrong is wrong with this plug. Just do a Web search for "dangerous undersized UK plug" and you'll find everything you need to know. Do not buy this. If you have kids, definitely do not buy this and throw it out if you have one. If the plug is this bad, imagine how bad the parts we can't see are. Is the wire rated for the current it's carrying? Does it have any safety measures in it for overheating? If it doesn't, and the plug is not fused, that's a recipe for a fire. I legally have to hold onto this for 6 months because it was a free review copy. But I really don't want it in my house for this long in case someone finds it and plugs it in. Seriously do not buy.

With winter now here I was looking for a dryer for drying my walking shoes and gloves, has I do at least 4 walks a day with my fur boys. In the past I was putting my gloves ect... on the radiators, but the problem was the time that I was talking to dry them off. I am happy that I got to try out this dryer, with it drying my walking shoes and glove without any problems.You get a great 360 ° surround hot air circulation, so the warm air flow seems to get into even the wettest and smallest of areas. The dryer gets up to a nice temperature of 48 ℃, allowing my things to dry a lot faster than waiting for the radiator to dry my things.You get 4 great time settings, 30mins, 60mins, 90mins and 120mins. So far, I have been using mine on the 60-minute setting, so with the smooth air flow it has been totally drying with in the 60 minutes.
