I have a chase at the end of my couch where I work on my laptop sometimes so I needed to find something like this to get it more at eye level and off my lap. This works great. It comes fully assembled so you don't need to put anything together. It's also light weight yet very sturdy which is a plus compared to some of the others I looked at that said they were heavy. Its wide enough for your laptop and also a mouse while you're working. I like that its easy to adjust the height and tilt so it makes it very flexible for working or for using for video conference or even watching movies. Its got a durable surface top thats easy to clean so I think it should last a long time. I haven't used it as a bed tray to eat off of but I'm sure it would work just fine for that as well.It comes with a book holding insert that work well but only for thin books. It has legs on the back you can extend so you can use it as a stand alone book holder like on your counter. I tried it out in the kitchen holding a cookbook and worked good. It folds up and I just store it under my bed when I'm not using it. This is a multi purpose tray I definitely recommend.

I like this laptop stand. I don't love it, but I do like it. I like that it is easy for me to adjust the height of the table, and easy to tilt and lock the angle of the table. The table has a nice large working space, in fact the whole thing is quite large. I wish the cup holder was deeper. When using the laptop stand in bed I don't feel confident that my water bottle is going to stay in place - as the cup holder is only about ¼ inch deep. I know it is a individualized thing – but I have a case on my phone, so my phone doesn't fit in the phone holder slot. The laptop stand does make it easy to use my laptop while in bed; it also works nicely as a tabletop easel, or as a standing desk when set on the tabletop.

Love, love, love this lap desk. It is very sturdy yet not heavy. The greatest feature for me is the adjustability for various tasks and the drawer for keeping writing utensils. It is well worth the money spent. I use it everyday. The surface is large enough to comfortably place both paper, pens and a book at the same time.

I bought this to use as a stand-up desk and to work from bed or the couch.Pros:- Easy to set up and adjust the height- The tilt function works well- There is plenty of room for legs underneath the table when it sits above your lapCons:-The surface is so slippery that when the table is tilted, everything slides off, except for whatever you have blocked with the included blocking things you put in a slot.-It’s very plastic And cheap feeling-The slots where you’re supposed to be able to put a phone in a pad or unusable unless the table is level and not tilted; the same goes for the drink holder. All these features should be deepened so that devices will stay and not lean forward when the table is tilted.- the legs easily collapse when you move the table from side to side, so you have to be sure that you remove all items before moving the table or else pick it up and move itI’ll be looking for another table, but not on Amazon, as it seems that all the same types of tables are sold here.

This stand is sturdy and great for my dad's big leather recliner. It adjusts easily and the adjusters lock into place easily. The size of the work surface really allows for a lot of paperwork or a laptop.
