This syrup makes the best old fashions! Much easier than adding your own bitters, they add a wonderful depth to the cocktail. At the Proof syrup to 2 oz of rye, and you'll be in heaven. cherries are also a very nice addition.

Making an old fashioned the easy way. It tastes good and instructions seem spot on for mixing. Too expensive for what it is - minus one star. Also, part of the fun is mixing these up so not sure making it easier is making the experience better, might be a takeaway.

This is a great simplistic way to make a great Old Fashioned. I do not however use as much as the bottle states. I'll pour 3-4 oz of good Bourbon and add 1/2 shot of proof, then smoke the liquid, add a frozen Ice Ball or Frozen Stones and a twist of orange peel to really set it off.
