Excellent tasting best boxed macaroni and cheese

This isn’t mac and cheese—it’s a science experiment gone horribly wrong. I had high hopes for Stouffer’s Supreme Shells and Cheese, imagining creamy, dreamy cheddar cascading over perfectly cooked pasta. Instead, I got a dinner kit that could double as a chemistry set. From the moment I opened the box, I was greeted by a neon-orange cheese powder that looked more at home in a dystopian sci-fi movie than my kitchen.Following the instructions to the letter, I stirred the cheese sauce, and what emerged was less “supreme” and more “suspicious.” The texture was eerily glossy, like it had been engineered in a lab to withstand the apocalypse. The taste? A mix of overwhelming salt, synthetic tang, and the distinct aftertaste of regret. It clung to my palate like a bad decision I couldn’t wash away.Even the pasta—usually the savior in lackluster mac and cheese—was limp and uninspired. I swear I heard it sigh as I scooped it onto my plate, knowing it deserved better than this fluorescent abomination.If you’re in the market for a culinary disappointment, look no further. For the rest of us, save your $5 and your dignity. Life’s too short for cheese that feels like it could double as industrial lubricant. 1/10, and that’s being generous. 🧀☠️

I tried these because I like Stoufers’ frozen mac and cheese and figured these would probably taste similar. I was wrong. Admittedly, maybe I’m just used to Kraft Deluxe, but the cheese sauce in this has a funky chemical taste. Pretty disappointed so I won’t be buying these again.

I was not fond of the taste of this cheese sauce, BUT that is JUST ME! Someone else may really like it a LOT! Having said that, I will NOT nock off a star because it was not to my liking! It was super easy to prepare, the little shells are very nice and easy to eat, and the cheese sauce is SUPER thick and nice! A great product, really! I would recommend at least trying it. The price point is awesome as well, so it's not like you are "wasting" a ton of money if you are not fond of it.
