Prior to purchasing this, we were using the bucket-blanket system: Storing Legos in a bucket and pouring them out on a blanket when using them, and hopefully using the blanket to get them back into the bucket. The problem is, they always strayed beyond the blanket.This mat with pockets inside — we keep my daughter's lego people in them — makes the cleanup process so much easier. The mat is big enough that we don't have stray pieces everywhere. Granted, we don't have as big of a collection as many so we have plenty of build room on the mat itself.The cord closure is very long when cinched, so an adult needs to help with younger users, but it's simple step that I'm willing to take in order to save my feet from those pokey blocks. The thick handle makes moving the closed mat/bag easy. The mat is made of durable materials, and the solid color makes for a good background when searching for specific pieces.

This is exactly what I was looking for to store all the Legos. It makes it easy for kids to reach for the pieces and super easy to clean up. Material has a sturdy feel

It opens up wide and makes clean up a snap. I could not see laying out Legos without this. The material is strong. The one thing I do not like is the pouch on the side. It has velcro. My wife assumed it was there to store the draw cord, which seems logical. But if you put the cord there, it will stick to the velcro and get frayed. The company would do better replacing the velcro with a simple snap button or just removing the pocket.

I've bought this as well as an Ozzykids play bag that was about half the price. The Ozzykids was made out of a canvas material, is much more heavy and doesn't shut up as tight. I keep magnatiles in it. This Lay-n-Go is made of more of a nylon material and can be cinched down and then carried like a backpack. The material itself is very lightweight and cinches up from one side and is just much easier to deal with. I keep Legos in this one. It's expensive at $60 I paid for it but having bought a low cost competitor for comparison I think it's worth the extra money. I always worry a bit about fake reviews. I'm an actual customer who paid full price for the product. I also recommend the off-brand Legos I put in the bag! They are the 1100 1100 Piece Building Bricks Kit with Wheels, Tires, Axles, Windows and Doors Pieces sold by Ubiquitty through Amazon. It's the first set of Lego type things that I've bought but it came with a lot of pieces and was like half the price of the name brand.

We have an obnoxious amount of Lego Duplo. I had baskets and baskets full of them, which made it difficult for my toddlers to find pieces and was a pain to clean up..These mats are awesome. Very well made and hold A TON of blocks. We have two of them, and store them in a lidded basket in the living room. The kids can open the mats up, find all of the pieces, and cleanup is a breeze. Pricey product, but it has relieved my Lego OCD and totally worth it.

This has been a great solution to our great Lego dilemma. My 7 year old liked to spread out his Legos on the dining table instead of the floor so they wouldn't get lost on the carpet or picked up by our toddler, but then he'd have to disassemble his creations to put everything back in the box whenever it was time to eat. Now he can spread out his Legos on this activity mat wherever he wants, and close the bag to move it to his room when he's done. If he's in the middle of a project it can easily stay together in the bag. I only rated it 4 stars because the plastic drawstring clip was broken when the item arrived. I didn't report it to the seller though because a replacement clip was included in the package. My only other complaint is that the drawstring is ridiculously long when the bag is closed. The bag (mat) is a great size when open though, so the string is only a small complaint.

Absolutely LOVE this Lego storage bag! We were gifted a large box of Lego duplos from cousins that outgrew them. My kids loved playing with them but storing them in a large cardboard box which would always inevitably get dumped EVERYWHERE was chaotic and resulted in the kids only playing with the Legos probably twice in a whole year. I wanted my kids to want to play with legos more and not have cleanup for me be misery so I started researching. I saw something similar to this at a library Lego event and loved it. This bag is pricy but I bit the bullet and bought the biggest size. WE LOVE IT! Not only is clean up a breeze and it makes all of the Lego pieces so much more accessible, but we have played with our legos at least 25 times in the last 3 months! Happy kids. Happy mom. Such a WISE investment. FYI, we can easily fit our large box (grocery store Apple box) of Lego duplos in the bag for storage. My one concern was that they wouldn’t all fit but they fit with room to spare!
