It works
I have tested it for the first time in my small pottery kiln, up to cone 03 and it registered as 1097 centigrade, about right. Very good value for money.

Very easy to use thermometer
It's an affordable DIY dual channel thermometer that I've managed to use to balance my radiators with .I also managed to find that sweet spot, a I term it for situating the central heating thermostat so it cycles on and off. Im sure I'll find many more things to do with it.

No easy way to tell how accurate it is
Dead cheap, easy to use, but gave different readings on circuit one and two. Swopped the temp probes still the same so its the machine its self. I bought it to balance radiators but this is no use unless you can trust the readings. But it looks nice. Update. I tested both readings against an accurate mercury thermometer and no 1 is within half a degree C and no 2 is 3 degrees lower.

Good value, clear screen, calibration's a wee bit off.
Nice, good for checking liquids, surfaces and ambient temeratures that a DIYer like me might encounter (so far). Reads about 0.9 deg C low at 37 deg compared to a decent medical thermometer. The main reason I suspect that it's a bargain is no rigid housing for the thermocouple tip, but that's offset by having a spare in the box. Fingers crossed it'll be reliable.

Great tool
Use this for monitoring inside and outside temperatures during A/C servicing, can't say whether it's accurate to the enth degree as it can't be calibrated but it's certainly accurate enough for my needs. Great having both temps on view at the same time.
