Does not come with a cable
It probably works fine, but I don’t have any way to know until I find the right cable to hook it up to my computer.I’m used to it external drives coming with an included cable, but this drive has none included.On top of that, there are no specs on what kind of port it has, either in the port or with the packaging. So, I have to figure out what cable to use.

Buyer beware
I ordered this product on June 23rd, feeling comfortable that if something happened to the hard drive, it had a 3 year warranty. It failed today. When I tried to get support for this item, I got that the product support window closed on Sep 24, 2018. In order to get something done about it, I have to call China to try to get it replaced...

Great for Wii U
Set it up with my Wii U to store my game data, using a Y Cable - has not caused me a single issue since I started. Excellent quality, and smaller than I initially thought it'd be, which is also good. Likely to buy another of these when I get my PS3.

Won't work!
What did I dislike? While my 3 laptops recognize there is an external drive, it won't show up as a working drive. Won't format or anything. All my laptops have Windows 10. I've been fixing computers for 16 years, so I have a good idea of what to do. The brand name of the external drive is very appropriate, if you get my drift.

Novice evaluation
Have had installed about a month. Works great but I have only loaded one game (AC ROUGE). Load times are faster and graphics much better than either playing from disc or loaded to thumb drive. I am not a heavy gamer so maybe not the best judge, but it has added to the enjoyment of playing. I read the other reviews and saw that there is a problem with original Xbox game loading but for me that wasn't an issue. I first ordered the Xbox hard drive but received a dietary supplement. Returned the pills and ordered the after market hard drive. The 500G and price were the selling point for me. Got what I ordered, simple install. No compatibility issues. So far, runs great!

This is not designed for android
This product states it works with adroid, it just comes with a 1.1 usb to hard drive connector. Otherwise it small and it 250gb

NOT ACTUALLY XBOX READY!!!
Nice little cheap 500g HDD, NOTE!! the cheaper of the choices is only just compatible with xbox one systems. In order to make it a proper game storage HDD U MUST REFORMAT IT. And purchase a usb 3.0 adapter cable.

This external hard drive is garbage. When I finally plugged it in it had a maximum capacity of 50gb. Who knows maybe the one you purchase will be of high quality. Not so much for me.
