This device is a good value for how it performs. Both external monitors performed in high resolution without any lag and the network and USB 3 ports performed admirably as well. People tripping on the price are, well, tripping. 4/5 because the cable is too short. Note that it does not include power supply.

The pandemic is over and many of us are being asked to go back to the office more frequently. My employer allows for a hybrid environment, meaning I can work form home some days, but in the office most days of the week. This is a nice balance, as I a believe in face time and being present in the office, but that’s a different discussion isn’t it?My dilemma has always been set up and tear down between home and office. Too many plugs, cords, USB, USBC, HDMI, lions, tigers and bears (oh my). This handy device allows me to plug mutliple inputs to or outputs from my work laptop to monitors and other external devices. It supports all of the previously mentioned items except the Oz mammals I mentioned. Set up all your cords, wires and power input to the docking station and then you simple plug the one USBC plug to your laptop.Voila, you can have multiple monitors, cameras, USB, USBC, etc. etc. with but one wire to your laptop. I use a Dell and the power charges my laptop under heavy use, so the voltage is correct. When I’m done for the day at home and due in the office the next, I simply unplug the one power source / info feed from my laptop, put in my backpack and I am off to the office in the morning. When I work from home, I need to just plug in one wire and all my peripherals are running perfectly. I have not detected any lag or lack of performance and the product is a full time part of my home office set up.

This docking station is nice, and it does what it is intended to do, but it is very pricey compared to other hubs. The UtechSmart 12-in-1 USB C hub helps to extend laptops and PCs. The docking station has 2 USB 3 ports and 2 USB 2 ports. It has two HDMI ports, 1 Display Port, plus other ports that are listed. Included is a manual, a carrying case, and an Email for support. The hub is lightweight. It has a very short power cable that is causing me a few problems. Having the cable a little longer would have been ideal. This docking station has everything I need. It is a high-quality product.

Average dongle. Really should be thunderbolt 4 for all the stuff it tries to do at once; the throughput of the USB standard it's using is not high enough to sustain full speed on any of the ports. Way too much money for what it is, but it does its job.
