I would call them thin
Thinner than all my other medium picks, not for me so waste of money

Great picks
These are my favourite picks. At a few pounds for twelve picks they are great value for money, and they last a long time so they are really durable, however that doesn't stop them being lost! They are fairly stiff, probably a bit too hard for beginners, but I like the slightly rounded end of the point, it gives a warmer sound, at least to my ears. It surprises me how much a pick can change your tone.

Great pick for beginner
These were a bit smaller than I was expecting but when I measured up against the more triangular hard pick I normally use there wasnt much difference in the actual length. Came in plain packaging, slits cut into a sheet of paper with picks inserted. I have used these picks now for a few weeks and they are just right. I have the thinner type also with the Fender name on them and they are great for learning guitar. Have to say that the fender name logo has worn off with use. I found there is a tendency for the pick to slip a bit when your fingers gets warm.

Excellent sound
I decided to experiment with different pick thicknesses, having played Martin heavy gauge picks for years. What a difference. The medium gauge really brings my guitar to life. I did try Martin medium gauge but the Fenders sound slightly better.Downside - I would rather not have to buy a 12-pack, but I guess it's not worth arguing over a couple of pounds.

Ideal pick for a beginner
This pick produces a bright sound which is also quite soft. Ideal for a beginner and produces a good tremello.

Our favourite
Picks are a very personal choice for guitarists. It depends on so many things. The type of music you play, the guitar, the weight of strings. For playing country, jazz and ‘Doc Watson’ rags, with a 12 - 53mm string, we like these best.
