Usefulness depends largely on height, still seems surprisingly warm despite ventilation paths
I recently went to Europe and back with this, with the outbound flight being overnight, so I was depending on finding something that would help me get a little rest in Economy class. This did pretty well for helping with getting at least a nap, though I used it a bit strangely -- I took the puny blanket/pillow pack the airline provided and placed it under this on the tray table to get sufficient height. That worked mildly well. I also have a neck pillow that's very soft, and put that in between my neck and this to avoid making full face contact with this, as it has some mildly rough edges.I did get some sleep on the flights, although not a huge amount. Part of that was being in an aisle seat and getting jostled around. Part of that was that I felt really warm using this, which I was surprised about given all the air pathways in it. (Maybe if I had more air blowing from the vents at the seat on the plane, that would mitigate this.)This generally met my expectations. It is fairly large, so when the flight attendants come by with drinks or a meal, you need to figure out what to do with it, which is a slight annoyance. It inflates and deflates very easily, with just a handful of blows, so I would just end up deflating it and re-inflating it as needed. When deflated, it does fit nicely back in the storage bag, which is nice, because I've run into too many inflatable products with a storage bag that only really fits the product when deflated to 0psi from the factory and folded down a very specific way. The bag here is both ample and doesn't add much space, so it's nice to have it.Overall, it's probably best as a product for people of average height. As I'm noticeably over 6 foot tall, this did help with reducing neck pain upon arrival of the long flights, but I was bent over more than I would like. I'd imagine people too short couldn't use it at all because their face wouldn't reach to the hole, though you could just put it in your lap instead of the tray table, then, so it might cater to shorter people better than taller. It's fairly comfortable for somewhat short uses, and as long as you set expectations accordingly, it's not too bad. I'd guess it'd work nicely for short-haul redeye flights, too.

inflatable design with washable cover.
I recently tried the Rewondah Inflatable Travel Pillow on a long flight, and it has completely changed my travel experience! This pillow is incredibly comfortable and provides excellent support for my neck, making it easy to catch some much-needed sleep while flying. The inflatable design is a game-changer. It’s lightweight and compact, which means it takes up minimal space in my carry-on. I love that I can easily inflate it to my desired firmness, ensuring the perfect fit for my neck. Plus, it deflates just as quickly, making packing up after the flight a breeze.Another great feature is the washable cover, which keeps the pillow fresh and clean, especially after long trips. The material feels soft against my skin, adding to the overall comfort.Overall, I highly recommend the Rewondah Inflatable Travel Pillow for anyone who frequently travels by air. It’s a fantastic investment for comfort on long flights, and it has made my journeys much more enjoyable!

Cmfortable. Inflates and deflates rapidly. Takes up very little room or weight between flightd
We bought this for the long flights between our island and the nearest continent. The ergonomic shape supports our whole upper body preventing pain from uncomfortable positions we no longer find ourselves having to endure. We like that it is very lightweight and takes up almost no room between flights when stored in its little bag. We love the one inflation tube for inflation and the larger bottom valve for quick deflation and storage well before the aircraft reaches the gate after landing.

Almost perfect
I intend to use this while traveling in airplane. I recently came back from a long trip where I have to seat for a long time, and I dozed up while seating and ended up with a very bad neck strain. I hope this will save me from my next trip. For now, I only try this out at home to mimic the plane seating position.Being able to lead forward and put my upper body weight on this pillow feels comfortable. For me, the most comfortable position is when this is place on a table, putting on my own lap is too low. If you are seated in the window seat you can use this as a side pillow too, also feels comfortable to me. I am not so sure about sharing with your partner, as movement will wake each other. Here come the not so good. In the pictures I pointed out the two areas where the seams feel uncomfortable. They are the hole for the face and the two holes for the arms. The seams feel sharp, maybe a piece of cloth will make the hand area feels better, but I am still trying to figure out what to do with the face area.As for the inflating part, I would recommend not using the black valve until when you are almost done. The black valve has a smaller opening and a one directional airflow mechanism. It will be much easier to inflate the pillow in the beginning without the black valve.Overall, I like this pillow and if this save my neck on my next trip, I will buy more for my family.

Seems sturdy. Could take some getting used to.
With a portable inflator it seemed to inflate fine. I really had to look to make sure the places I thought weren't inflating aren't actually supposed to.I tested it out at home, but didn't end up using it on the plane. I was imagining that the non inflating piece kind of inside and at the top of the opening on the angled part would leave a line across my forehead. I'm being generous with the points since I didn't know for sure that it would and I just may be more prone to facial sleep creases than others. 😋I actually got it hoping it would work as a leg prop for sleeping on vacation. I use an adjustable bed at home and was going to be doing a lot of walking so I expected my feet to get swollen without the elevation at night. It might be a tad narrow for that purpose.
