This is a REALLY fun toy. The problem is... everybody needs to have one, or you're not going to be very well liked by your playmates. The build quality is extremely poor. These are toys designed to played with by kids who are running & jumping & going crazy, but I'm confident that if I were to drop this on concrete from waist height, it would break. In this price range, I would expect MUCH better. If I'd been able to see and handle this before ordering it, I wouldn't have. Finally... I've been unable to find a way to acquire more ammunition for it. That pretty much puts an expiration date on the toy. They need to take this back to the R&D department. Cannot recommend.

This is an awesome toy, just have to soak the gel beads before you're going to use it.

I got this gel blaster to play with my sons. It works well and is surprisingly accurate! I highly recommend!

I got this "Gel Blaster" through the Vine Voice review program, and I'm a gamer, so to be perfectly honest, I got this toy gun to use as a prop weapon to display in my game room, with no intention of every really using it.That being said, after I started looking into what this toy really is, I really can't recommend this as a toy for kids or anyone who intends to use it for its intended purpose , especially outdoors. The webpage doesn't really explain anything about the projectiles , except to call the gun a "gel ball blaster" . I searched online and found a couple of references to "gel balls / beads" used for toy guns, and found some information saying that they are "generally" made from sodium polyacrylate. I copy and pasted a quote from one website about this substance below:"These ingredients are not directly considered to be harmful to the environment, and sodium polyacrylate is technically biodegradable - the issue, however, is that it can take an incredibly long time to break down naturally and is the reason, therefore, that many consider this a non-degradable substance."We humans are causing enough environmental devastation these days, with things like microplastics in the soil, water, and our bodies apparently. I feel like the last thing we should be doing is encouraging children to mindlessly shoot little beads all over the place, that may end up being eaten by animals, and take a very long time to biodegrade. I cannot recommend this toy with a clear conscience.
