There is no perfect bunny litter pan but this isn't bad!
Was looking for a "perfect litter pan" for our 5lb Holland lop bunny. First, let me say that unicorn doesn't exist! LOL! When I purchased though, I was hoping this pan would be it! I was looking for something that:1) would help block our dog out of the free-roaming bunny's area and her litter pan. Dog constantly wants to eat the poop and the bedding! (This works for that! Except for the unavoidable random minimal poops on the ground.)2) would not let the bunny sit in her own mess (for the most part, this pan does that)3) would prevent poops from flying out of the pan when she hops out of it. (this pan does that)I do like this pan alot (and more than the other pan I also purchased: the ~2" height plastic grid platform (no sides)...discovered once I got it that it was SO hard to open! I imagined all the yucky stuff flying everywhere once I finally got it open. Yuck! No thank you! Don't buy that one!). The bottom pan itself is easy to wipe down. But what I didn't think about it until I lived through it, TMI here, is the poops that have hair connected to them. There's a bunch of hanging poop on the metal grid when it's time to clean it. I have to use a paper towel to brush (or sometimes grab and pull them through the grid). Pretty gross and especially if you don't keep up with cleaning often. I also don't like touching the soiled grid (which, by the way, is easy to pull up) so I use an ice pick type tool to pull it and hold it as I'm cleaning it. Speaking of cleaning it, I wanted to share a tip: I put a puppy pee pad in the very bottom of the pan and then add a thin layer of bedding. (Wish there was more room to add more bedding but it is what is!!) This makes it easy to slide out into the garbage bag when soiled plus doesn't leave too much bedding behind in the pan - which can get stuck in the built-in corner "feet" of the pan.The only thing I wish I could change would be that it was offered in a larger size. Our bunny fits in it but it is tight. She had been using a decent sized cat litter pan before this and unfortunately, she's had a few pee accidents outside of this pan because I think she thought she was in the right/usual place (still in the pan!!). I also have to clean this little pan way more often than the big cat litter pan because the poops build up under the metal grid! Again, wish the bottom area was taller but without sacrificing the overall height.Overall, a great little pan that helps with our initial needs.

Perfect Litter Box for Small Animals—Large, Durable, and Easy to Clean!
The PODOO Steel Grids Rabbit Litter Box is exactly what I needed for my bunny! The large size (15x11x4.7 inches) is spacious enough for my rabbit to comfortably use, and the deep pan helps keep everything contained, making cleanup a breeze. The 1cm steel mesh holes are perfectly sized to keep my rabbit’s feet clean and dry, while allowing waste to drop into the tray below. The steel construction is sturdy and easy to sanitize, and I appreciate the bright orange color, which adds a cheerful touch to the cage setup. This litter box is not only functional but also super easy to maintain. It’s a great choice for anyone looking to keep their small pet’s space tidy and hygienic. Highly recommend for rabbits and other small animals!

Great for a bunny
Great sturdy metal bars to hold a bunny and pretty spacious for a Netherland dwarf rabbit if not a Holland lop. My bunny enjoys it and it's a great value for money. It's easy to use as well and is pretty practical.

Bunny loves it
Bunny loves it and it is high in the sides. My only wish is that the pan came in a stainless steel option, so the rabbit wouldn’t chew on the plastic sides. Cleans easily, and comes apart easily to do so.

did not work for our guinea pigs
We got this for our guinea pigs. First thing that did not work for use was the spacing on the wire. They're just too far apart for our pigs. So we removed the grate and put in some bedding and placed a pile of hay on top of that.It turned out a bit more messy than we wanted to deal with. And the final straw that was the pigs were chewing on the plastic. So while this might work for rabbits, it did not work for our guinea pigs.
