It is touted as being beneficial and even used by well-known women.The cost of the Kit includes everything to procure, store, and send the post-delivery placenta. It's important to let those involved with the delivery know about this Kit, as proper care and storage of the placenta are of the utmost importance. It would be great to have an entrusted friend or relative ensure the placenta is saved and stored and even have that person responsible for getting the package to UPS.The company, located in New York and established in 2022, has a Lab that prepares the placenta for steaming and drying, grinding it, and placing it into capsules. They claim to quickly return two bottles of the encapsulated placenta, each bottle containing 60 1000mg capsules, with a recommended dosage of 2 capsules, 2 -3 times daily. Consume within 60 days and keep refrigerated.It's possible for FSA and HSA accounts to pay for this Kit. My brief research states that this is not an FDA-approved product and is considered a supplement. There is no proof that the processed placenta will benefit the new mom and the baby. The use of the encapsulated placenta is subjective. Most likely, it will not cause any harm as long as the placenta is from a healthy mom and processed in a reputable Lab.
