New Catchables from Exploding Kittens are another clever highly playable game from this brand .This set includes two of the Catchables - 'DJ Cat' and 'Cat-tle'There are 10 others in the set , all with their own action cards although you can play a game with just 2 if you wish.Each Catchable has a set of 12 cards ranging in difficulty from easy to more tricky - challenge your throwing and catching skills with the required actions and multi actions while they are in the air.The Catchables are squishy and a good shape for catching without worrying about damaging anything.You need a little space and a level of physical ability - the first to do 5 card actions on their go wins .It’ sounds simple but as with all EK games the play can change in an instant.Great fun for all ages , we look forward to adding other characters for more varied play

Even if you don't know the particular brand these are from the strange designs will certain hint at how silly but fun this is, the catchables literally being something you throw and catch. For this they are might out of a light spongey material that quickly goes back to its original shape when let go of so its easier to catch and should be gentle on the hands regardless of age.The twist is that each pack comes with challenge cards which aim to make the otherwise simple tasks harder to do like having to throw it extremely high on purpose or clapping at least once before catching it again (with more 'stunts' at once until you reach 5). The box is pretty compact and light so could make for a good outside game to take with you, maybe even on a picnic so could be pretty recommendable.As a side note I do realize that the fact each pack also has unique cards would make this very expensive to complete as most collectables are however there are certainly enough per pack to be played by itself and so my tip would be just getting one to start with to see if its fun and only getting more if you genuinely plan on having more than 2 players (either that or as gifts to someone that really enjoys them).

This Catchables pack can either be a game on its own, or combined with others to add more players (up to 12). This pack includes the DJ cat and Cat-tle catchables. I love how unique each Catchable is and everyone is usually happy with whichever Catchable they're given. They are lightweight and soft so low risk of causing any accidents when being thrown in the air.The game itself is pretty easy to learn and a lot of fun to be had. It works well as a 2 player game, but we've played with more by using other packs and found it more fun!

This expansion pack is for the Catchables Exploding Kittems game and features 2 extra catchables and a card pack.The catchables in this pack are:DJ CatCat-tleEach of the catachables is well detailed with its own humour and are actually smaller than they seem although do fit in the palm of your hand but bounce back out easily when your trying to catch them without bending your elbows or some other crazy act.The catchables then coupled with the cards provide a fun crazy game for all ages and especially adults after a few drinks whereby you have to read each card to do some crazy action whilst trying to catch the catchable at the same time.This expansion pack can be combined with the main 4 catachables starter pack and then used with 2 - 4 players and provides endless amounts of fun especially at family events or festive periods.Overall this is an entertaining game that can also be expanded even further with 4 more expansion packs of catchables so that you could have even more players involved.

My children and I have wanted to try the Exploding Kitten games for quite a while so was very excited to give this a go and it didn't disappoint.It is a very simple game, in terms of how you play it but it's actually very difficult to win! I expected the game to last 5 to 10 minutes max, but after 40 minutes we was still playing and the end never seemed in sight.The joy in this game is the hilarity of it, everyone is soon laughing and it gets you up and moving about. I haven't seen my 14 year old laugh for this length of time in a while, and it was joyous to see.I think this would also make a great gift idea, as there are various ones to collect as well.

This is such a simple but fun game. The rules are really easy to learn but it’s also a tricky game. The nice thing is that everyone in the family can get involved and for a card game it actually gets you up on your feet.Great quality cards and catchables (which are also kinda cute). Great value for the fun you’ll have.

This is a well developed little dexterity game that involves throwing a squishy toy in the air, doing actions, then catching the toy.Cards are dealt and passed between each player , the cards have various actions - clap once, twice, hop, spin, spell a word etc etc. each round depending on success or failure (you get 3 tries) you add, remove or give cards to other players.The winner is the first player to do 5 card actions on their turn.It's a tricky one to play - older folks struggle with the physical action, younger players struggle to fit 5 movements in.It is fun, but we found playing indoors was difficult due to the low ceilings.Components are top quality, the cards shuffle well and have good clear finishes on them.Each toy character has a set of 12 action cards and they are unique to that character, so play changes each time you choose different characters - which encourages you to collect them all.We had fun and my 10 year old did beat the rest of us, but he did find some cards very difficult.
