Was $12 when amazon 1st sold it. Only $14 @ ACE Hardware (purple sunrise)
The media could not be loaded. (I actually used purple sunrise which I Don’t see they may have changed it to blue cosmos?) this stuff first hit Amazon It was only $12 and I was buying 2-4 cans at a time and I was painting everything from my rims to my interior panels I even Thought about doing my whole truck. This stuff is sweet as long as you use a good base coat. I like the black acrylic. The Amazon sells for like $5 and change And it's still only five dollars in change. I tried probably 5 or 6 different brands and types And brands the expensive kraylons and the rustoleum And by far the acrylic that amazon sells that i took picture is my favorite. If you use gloss, you're gonna get a shiny result with this stuff or use a flat Mat black, for example, you're gonna get a dimmed down result with this stuff. Now it HAS to be black underneath If you're painting something that's already black. You can probably do that. But I like to put a fresh coat or two of black minimum because it gives the paint something better to stick to but that's just my opinion and the blacker the paint The better result you're gonna get. If you mess up which usually only happens when I put on two heavy coats and it starts to drip because im impatient, I just sprayed some black over it enough to cover it.And then I that that try is and I start over with this And ninety percent of the time I don't have to start the whole project over which is nice If you can be as impatient as I can sometimes. Now you can do like two coats of this And get results that are telegraphic but not solid color changing will still be a lot of black and then the heavy. You put it on then if you wanna do 4 or 56 Coats. It gets darker and more solid of the blue and purple and less black. Right now I'm paintjng a used lift kit that was little rusty and some suspension parts With the leftover 3 or 4 cans, I had because I used to kind of buy this stuff and stock it up.Cause I wouldn't always find something.I could paint with it, but you know $,20 for a can of spray paint is absurd so I just go to a local Ace Hardware they still got it for $14.

Great!
Pretty color, dries quickly, covers well, spray quality is great. Recommend using over dark color for best effect.

Take your time...
I've been painting these Lexan Polycarbonate bodies for my RC hobby. I have had great luck but I can tell you what does not work for me in my experience. You need to shake the living daylights out of it. You can't be in a hurry. For me It takes multiple THIN coats with 15 min at a minimum between coats. The picture shown is 4 coats. It doesn't take a lot. If you spray it thick, it will run on you every time. It paints much better when it's warm outside and not windy. I've noticed it doesn't paint well when it's cold. Wear a mask. It seems more potent smelling than usual spray paint. It does work with other color base coats, but for the cap color and drama of the effect I use flat or satin black. Test paint first and try it with different colors. It's fun to experiment over other colors, but it acts more like a pearl then. Looks neat on Navy Blue. Good Luck.

Pricey but great with correct application.
I purchased to paint insect eyes for a Halloween costume. I used cheap black paint as a base (not the expensive one they sell specifically for this purpose). It looks great over black, any black spray paint. It does not look great over light light colors, it will look like a clear glitter spray and the color changing effects won’t be very strong. Overall it worked great but I would not buy again because of the cost. It is cheaper to purchase color changing pigments.

not impressed, Is basically spray on glitter
I originally got an automotive can type of one that I liked. Although I don't remember who made it, I thought it's pretty cool, so I figured I'd give these a try. Rustilium makes a few different product lines of these color shifting paints, so I pretty much bought one of each kind to try out. None of them appear to be nearly as good as that original paint i had, these are almost more like an over glorified spray on glitter.

Pretty Good
Not as dark as I hoped it would turn out, but still very pretty. More lavendar than purple effect.
