Recently, I had to sleep on a bed with a firmer mattress than I used to. Over time, I started feeling my lower back in the morning when just getting out of bed. I am a side sleeper, so I also was getting sore spots on my shoulders and hips. I started waking up more during the night to change position.I was skeptical about using a mattress topper, but I decided to try it. Once it arrived, I put it into a dryer for 30 min at an air dry cycle with cold air. It fluffed up a bit, and after that, I didn’t smell any noticeable odors.Several reviews here state that the pad is smaller than the mattress. When putting it in, you need to pull the skirt part down from all sides to tug it under the mattress. Then, the pad spreads as it is supposed to. I got a queen size, and it fits my mattress.The pad is not thick, but it adds a bit of a pillow-top feeling to the mattress. The bed got a bit softer, yet I am not sinking into the added pad layer. So far, I started sleeping much better, and my lower back is not sore anymore in the morning. It got a bit easier on my shoulders, too.I can’t attest to whether this pad is hot or cooling. I am using a waterproof cover over it, and its temperature didn't change after adding the topper.

I actually purchased this topper to use in place of an actual sheet, as I was tired of sheets riding up my 14" King mattress and coming off the mattress all the time even though they were all advertised not to, and I didn't want to mess with a bunch of clips holding a sheet on the mattress like many people try to do.Enter this topper.Since it's bamboo, it is still cooling and even though some reviewers say it is thick, I do not find it thick, and that's okay, as I did want it a bit thinner and more sheet-like and it looks very nice and expensive.This has just a bit more padding than a regular sheet since it's a topper, and that's okay as I purposefully purchased a very firm mattress, and this topper actually helps soften it just the right amount and also provides more protection against spills than a regular sheet would as well.It really does hug the mattress as tight as advertised and doesn't come off and actually hugs it so tight it looks like part of the actual mattress to the un-trained eye, and I couldn't be more elated and happier the topper is also easily machine washable.For my specific purposes and needs, this was perfect and I may just buy another to have a second on hand.

Good product for the value. However it is NOT firm. It doesn't claim to be. But don't get the wrong idea. If you are looking for back, hip, side sleeper SUPPORT, you will need to get a memory foam type topper. This blanket is plush and squooshy for lack of a better term. It improves the bed with a soft cloud feel. I would classify it as a luxury enhancement. If your mattress is sinking, this may not be the correct purchase. It has deep pockets to fit the mattress but mine slips down on the side I sleep, There is NO smell. I am not allergic to the material and I have sensitive skin. I put my blanket in the dryer for 20 minutes to fluff and let it sit for one night. I look forward to going to bed!

I am well pleased with this cover. The quality and softness is very good. It’s true it’s not as thick as soon as you take it out of the vacuum sealed package but 20 minutes on air dry fluffs it right up. We just got a new Black Beauty mattress which I love but was a little too firm for my husband. This cover made it perfect for him and we both love it. So far it’s the best mattress pad I’ve found and worth the money.

I bought a king size for my bed and loved it so much. It just feels amazing to the skin even without a sheet. It feels so fluffy and chunky I was very happy with how quick it fluffed up. So happy in fact I bought one for my wife's bed (we are both tall and stack 2 king beds together, you should try it it's nice) and another queen size one for my nephews bed.For the price and speed of shipping and quality I just can't say anything negative I highly recommend.

Although I haven't slept on it yet, I received it today. I can tell from putting it on my bed, it's of good quality. The feeling is very soft, thick & most of all it fits my mattress. My original item I had to return for a larger size. My replacement was really quick, that's a plus & I would definitely recommend this topper. Thank you

I’m 8 months pregnant and our firm mattress was killing my back, so I ordered this on a whim to see if it would help. I didn’t have much faith when I took it out of the box - it was vacuum sealed and seemed way too thin to actually do anything - but regardless, I put it on our bed to try it out. By the time I crawled into bed last night it had expanded quite a bit and made our bed significantly more comfortable, and I proceeded to sleep like a baby! Anyone who has experienced pregnancy knows that’s a miracle in itself at this stage. I can’t believe the difference this topper made and I’m so glad I decided to try it!

My wife and I are over age 70 and have trouble with sore joints and muscles thus making it hard to sleep. We bought a higher end plush mattress but it was still too hard. We added this topper to see if it would help after spending money on a thick graphite topper that just did not work. I bought this topper hoping it would give us the level of comfort we needed. It did! It is soft and supportive in just the right ways to give us a good nights sleep. Good price point. I recommend it.
