The book Power System Stabilty and Control is an extraordinary technical book, which is very pleaseant to read.The hardcover version - which I personally prefer - is one of the best of its kind. The book is very easy to handle and to store.The packaging of the book was acceptable and it arrived with almost no damage.I am considering recommending the book to my colleagues, specially the new engineers, as it covers most aspects of the dynamics and control systems world.It was a great purchase for me, thanks a lot!

Very detailed and complete reference.
The subjects covered are complex. The material is developed well and the book provided a good companion reference to a course I was taking. As well, it is the text book for one of the you tube courses offered on the subject.The only request I would make of the author is more worked examples.

Excellent reference book for Power Systems
Bought this book a while ago. The amount of content is huge and very well explained. It's a must have to any Electrical Engineer focused in Power Systems. The only observation is that doesn't have exercises for solving.

The book all the others heavily reference
Exactly what I was looking for. This should be every power engineers first fundamental book. I got lost in every other book, but as it says in the preface, this book gathers it all together so the Engineer out of college doesnt have to hunt and buy. In fact, all these advanced books heavily reference it including many standards.

This book is absolutely an advanced book in power system. The level is graduate, and a very useful refrence for those who do some research in areas which are associated which stability and control. 電力系統工学の名著
電力系統工学のバイブルとして知られるKundurの本です。dq0変換による同期機の記述法、Parkの方程式の導出から始まって、調速機等の制御機器の説明、現代制御理論を用いた安定度解析など、電力系統工学と制御工学を融合させて記述してあります。同期機をここまで詳しく説明して、電力系統工学と制御工学を統合して説明した本は和書には殆どないため、非常に価値のある書物です。(和書では関根先生の電力系統過渡解析論が挙げられます。)洋書としては価格も比較的廉価で、本の内容は素晴らしいので電力系統に携わる技術者には一読の価値があります。
