Got a dashcam and this kit to keep the wiring clean and simple. Installed quick and easy in my 2023 Genesis G70. Popped the middle section of the cover off, unplugged the mirror harness, plugged this in and stuffed the wiring back into the enclosure. Works good, puts out 2A @ 5V max to the USB-A port. The wires it comes with are pretty thin, so be sure they aren't pinched or squished. Other than that minor quibble, works as advertised and cheaper than some other options. Also comes with some USB-A to mini/micro/C cables, but they are very short, only about 5" total, so I ultimately used another 12" cable I already had.

I bought this for my 22 Hyundai Sonata SEL+ with auto dimming mirror. My biggest problem was with the car itself and removing the plastic cover around the mirror. Install was easy and it has worked well for over a week now. The power supply has been consistent and looks great. The cords are very short so you may need a slightly longer cord depending on where you decide to place your camera, but the length was accurately listed in the description.Very happy with my purchase and the price point is unbeatable.

Install was easy, but I had to uninstall it.This adapter does not supply enough power for my Azdome dashcam's rear camera.After connecting to my dashcam, the main front camera powered on, but the hardwired rear camera would not power on.Connecting the dashcam to my 12v cigarette lighter charger worked fine for front and rear.Giving 2 stars because it works for single camera dashcam.

This was surprisingly simple to install and it worked! The included cable pants long enough for my needs but that's is a simple fix work another cable. This device is comfortably priced and is able to his well behind the existing covers well and so looks great. I like how it uses the power from the auto-rearview mirror so I don't have to have a long cable going to my USB.My car: 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 SEL

This power connector is incredibly easy to use. It was one disconnect on the top of my mirror for IKEA plug in the harness and now have power to my dash cam. I'm sure you could power other things with it too if you wanted to, but I'm just using it for my dash cam and it works great.
