Construction looks and feels both strong and durable. Cord is a durable thickness as well and the extra length is very handy, while still packing down rather small. The metal housing feels very quality. Performance wise, it seems to perform as expected! So far it transfers flawlessly without any issues. The various cars formats it can accept is very convenient and I think overall is worth the price.

Works good. But from time to time it will not recognize a card. So I have to go back to an older reader and it will see the card. Odd!

After spending over a $1,000 on a scope it needed a chip but I had nothing to read the chip. I chose this one because it can read types of chips and has added backup capability I did not have before. Very simple to use and it stays continually hooked to my computer. Awesome!

Needed this for uploading pics from an old camera's Compact Flash card. Plugged it in and the drive appeared on my iMac and I was able to transfer the files with no issues. The housing and cord on this card reader appear sturdy. NOTE: for the smaller card slots (micro SD etc), the card gets inserted right side up, but for compact flash, you must insert it upside down (colorful side down) or you won't be able to connect to the pins and may damage the pins if you try to force it. Insert the card into the reader before plugging the reader into your device's USB port. Minimal instructions are included in the box.

So I have the new Mac Mini 2018. But the way I have it set up its not at arms reach. I have to stand up and walk to it in order to turn it on. Being a photographer I use the SD Card slot I have on a type C hub. Long story short I put double sided tape right under my desk next to me and ran the wire to the mac mini. Now I can just slip in the card and it works with no hiccups. When I make videos I am constantly putting in the card and taking it out and again and again and every time I did my computer read the card with no issues. Really love this. It works its simple and gets the job done. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Takes up very little space, of course, easy to use. I recently built my desktop and needed a card reader, but didn't necessarily want to mount one in the front of my case. Handy.

Good quality, cable is built into the reader which I like, won't unplug if you bump just the reader.Cable is also long enough to reach from back of my computer.I get about 40mb/s transfer speed when I move GoPro footage to my pc but yours might vary depending on what you're transferring from and to.

It works perfectly for my SD cards as well as my CF card. I like that the cable is long enough that I can run it to the back of my desk and down the back to plug into my Pc. Also it's plug and play, no fuss. It would be ideal if it had some sort of rubber feet for keeping it steady while plugging in a card but other than that, great

前に使っていたカードリーダーはUSB3.0なのに30MBしか出なかった。これは驚異的なスピード！ほとんど120MB/s台に収まってくれました。（画像ご参照ください。）受け手はSSDではなくHDDです。送り手はSANDISK EXTREME PRO CF 16GB （速度160MB/s）この速度160MB/sは読み出しの事でもあるのでしょうか？そうだったらかなり接近していますね。それと今まで延長USBケーブル使っていましたがケーブルが長いので、そのままPCの背面に挿せました。ダイソーのマジックテープを机の裏と本製品に貼り、机の裏にくっつけて使っています。それとまさかの筐体が金属製！（商品説明みていませんでした。アルミ合金製とのこと）放熱はそんなにしないだろうけど、結構嬉しい。やっとこのリーダーで落ち着けそうな気がします。耐久性は買ってすぐのレビューなのでまずは★５から。
