Easy set up as with my other tp link products, motion sensor works well, cam is good for the price, video is of a good clarity for the price, I would reccomend these cams

So far so good. I have 2 C410 outdoor cameras. Really easy to install and set up. Cameras are quite a long way from my router but pick up the signal fine. A tad slow to wake up but I'm talking a second or 2 at the most. Picture quality is good and a surprisingly good wide view angle. Can also see view 30+m away. Suites my purposes fine.

Excellent value for money. Work reliably. Battery life obviously dependent upon useage. May be controlled from anywhere with a good mobile signal. May be fixed to any vertical or horizontal surface. If fixing to a brick wall I would advise to fix a square of wood first and then fix camera to the wood. Otherwise may be difficult to get the screw holes aligned. Very versatile fixings so camera may be pointed at any angle. All settings done via Tapo app. Camera records movement. Motion, pets, vehicle or humans may be selected. No movement - no recording. Recordings may be viewed on the app. Once capacity reached the first recording are written over.

I bought 4 of these cameras as replacements for a different make of camera, which had become unreliable and were failing. Initially I thought they were a great improvement - 2K instead of 1080p, much better at detection, colour night mode, and many more options to customise detection range and behaviour. However within a few days it was noticeable that 2 of them were draining battery really quickly, so I contacted TP-Link support, and they suggested all the obvious stuff (some of which wasn't obvious to me at first), but despite having connected solar panels to all 4 cameras in the meantime, these 2 cameras were still losing battery charge quicker than the solar panel could charge them. So I was referred to Otto in the technical department - he was very helpful and responsive, and after a couple of firmware updates and sending him the diagnostic logs he reported that my router (ironically, a TP-Link AC2100) was sending too many Wifi "wakeups", and that I should try updating the router firmware. I had had no trouble with the other 2 cameras as they were connected to different routers, I had already connected one of the troublesome cameras to a different router and battery drain wasn't a problem any more, so I connected the other camera to it, and now no longer have the problem.The only quibble I have (and I have seen this complained about elsewhere), is that after initial setup it is not possible to switch to a different Wifi source, you have to completely reset the camera and go through the setup procedure again! Maybe they're taking cues from the Amazon Echo devices, which also need to go through setup to change the Wifi connection...So thanks to the TP-Link support team (and Otto in particular), I can now say I am more than satisfied with these cameras!

Very impressed with these cameras. I didnt want to run power to get some CCTV running so tried these. The setup and installation was very easy, the APP and controls are great. The picture quality is fine - it's not 4K but 2K is good enough for my requirements. The 2 Way audio is a nice feature also, but most importantly for me was the battery life. With normal use the cameras have been using around 1% every 3-4 days, which means they will easily last 3+ months before needing to charge. I support it will depend how often they are triggered and record, in my case around 10 times per day as I only have it concentrated on my driveway and front door.

These are excellent cameras, easy to install, TapoCare is not required, just buy a microSD card and you’re good to go, make sure to set detection field, so it’s not picking up unnecessary motion and needlessly running battery down, my front door camera is hidden, only picks people up when you come to door, been up a month and it’s on 98%, rear camera covers garden and outside drive, picks up more activity and is at 84%, install somewhere convenient, so you can simply unscrew from bracket and charge when you’re in and don’t need surveillance

Bought this and tapo door bell to replace Ring devices as was fed up of paying monthly fees. This is excellent quality shows night and day clearly. Excellent value for money and no monthly fees! Easy to setup and excellent quality

Good quality. I use them indoor. Easy to install. The app is easy to connect.The picture is excellent (day and night mode). I use them to keep an eye on my home in Portugal when I am not there - connected via the WiFi, I can activate and view live from the UK. When triggered by any movement they send a message to my phone. Battery life is great - 6 weeks and they are still on 97% charge ( I turn them onto privacy mode when I am there so have not had to recharge). I would give 6 stars if possible - a very good find. I cannot find fault.
