Bought this as a replacement for the original Nintendo DSlite battery ... this (a) works fine, and (b) has more battery capacity.

My wife has kept her old Nintendo DS lite for years. Just recently we found it kicking around in a drawer in the home office. She was very disappointed when it didn't turn on. I figured it was the old battery in it since plugging it into the charger didn't even light up the charging light.I found this battery claiming to be a factory direct OEM replacement and sure enough, worked like a charm. It even came with a tiny little Philips screw driver that was the actual same size as the screw in the back of the DS lite.The moment I had the new battery installed the DS lite fired right up. for 9.98$ I have zero complaints and would rate this 6/5 stars if I could.

There were no items in the package that were missing or damaged. It's actually a 2500mAh battery, and it works! I haven't replaced my DS Lite battery before, and what it replaced was the OEM 1000mAh battery. It fits, it charges, and it works. Whether it lasts 2.5 times as long, we'll just have to see. Note: Once you replace the battery on the DS Lite, you have to input 5 settings again (Name, Color, Date, Time, and Birthday).
