I needed a new timer for my garden behind the green house. . This timer worked extremely well for me. I like that it’s easy to program. The batteries last a long time; haven’t had to change them since March. The display is easy to read at a distance. The connections are made of high grade plastic which helps with corrosion due to extreme hard water especially if the hose connected to it has plastic connectors as well. The price was affordable given the rising cost of competitive options these days.

This timer is well constructed, does not leak, and is simple to install and setup. It honestly couldn't be easier. Just a quick read of the instructions prevents any mistakes and only takes a minute. Turn the dial, press the +/- buttons and pick your zone, then move on to the next setting. Simple and efficient! I love the fact that it saves your settings so you can turn it off when you get a lot of rain, and back on when things dry out. We live in South Carolina, so this is invaluable when we hit our summer dry season.This is a high-quality product that works every time.

Setup was easy. Replaced older Orbit timers. Works as advertised.

My starting point was a 2-port timer from the local hardware store. Like all timers, the setup was relatively simple, however, there was no detent on the control knob, so the timer was exceptionally prone to inadvertent mis-setting. Even a bird alighting on the timer would take the timer out of operation.Now, enter the Rainpoint timer. 1. it is easy to program, 2. the control knob is detented so there is no inadvertent mode switching, and 3. customer service is excellent. I say that (#3) because, when, like other timers I have used, the internal seal failed and flooded the interior of the timer, Rainpoint quickly honored the warranty and shipped a replacement at no cost. Would I purchase this product again? Yes. In fact, Rainpoint is being considered for their 4-port timer.

This sprinkler is super easy to set up and has been working great for our 2 sprinkler system.What is especially nice about this model is the ability to completely turn off one or both zones in case you want to use it as a 1 zone setup.The kit came with teflon tape to ensure a good connection as well and was a nice touch.

This timer is very straightforward to set and use. It is easy to set the timer for how often (every 1, 2, 3, etc. days) and for how long (1 to 60 minutes) for either one or both of the outlets. The size of the screen makes it easy to read. It is also easy to put the timer on "Manual" and just use the hose attached to either outlet. It is definitely worth the cost.

I got this after forgetting to turn off my sprinkler. It was easy to set up, with a large digital display. Two outlets let me control sprinklers in my front and back yards. The timer only allows one zone to be active at a time so each zone has full water pressure when active. It has a feature for skipping if it rains but I find it easier to just turn it off until it is needed again. It does have a digital display that becomes unreadable in high heat. I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

So most of the features on this unit I like, and it will do the job, if you can fight through programing it. There are two outlets on this thing, which is why I bought it. But the continued problem that I kept having was, as you are trying to program the second outlet, it kept timing out and i would find myself changing the first program not ever realizing it had switched back to the first program. I would have to stop and go back and reprogram the first, then start the second again and if I was not fast enough, i'd end up back reprograming the first again. Very frustrating to say the least. Also, there have been several occasions that i just wanted to use the hose to water a flower or fill a bucket and trying to figure out how to do that was mind numbing. the instructions are not clear, I ended up watching a youtube video, and even that was confusing. They could spend some time making things like programing the unit and also being able to easily pause programing so that you can use the hose for something periodically much easier than it is.Having said all of that, once you do get it programmed, it works like it should. There are several options that allow you to set different parameters on when and how long to water. So all of that worked well. One thing of note, if you intend on allowing to use both watering options at the same time, i hope you have really good water pressure, especially if you are going 40-50 away from the until. I was not able to use both at the same time and had to change the programing so that they were each on different times one from the other, or I didn't have enough water pressure to get to the end of the hose.Becasue of all the frustrtion, 3 stars is as good as I could give it.

Bought this one as my first one was so fantastic. Never have to remember about watering the plants. Plus I set it for 5am before the sun gets out and evaporates the water before it gets to the plants. Easy to use and set up. Highly recommend
