A Cap Badge or Brooch with a 4.5cm(1.75") MacGregor Clan Crest. Attaches with a Pin fastening. Made from Old fashioned Pewter with the addition of a Palladium plate finish to prevent scratching or tarnishing. The clan crests date back to the custom for Clan Chiefs to give their followers a metal plate of their crest, to be worn as a badge of allegiance fastened to their clothing with a strap and buckle.
