Better than I expected. And button backlights show through.
I have a W212 Mercedes (2014), and anyone who has one of these cars knows that the black coating on the frequently used buttons (windows, center console, steering wheel) peels away after years of use, creating an unsightly look. So the options are to paint them with a black marker (only marginally effective), replace the entire button or assembly (expensive and hard to do), or look for a solution like this one with stick-on covers; this is the most cost-effective option in my opinion . . . if the buttons are fashioned properly, and are easy to install correctly. These Fitfoyo button covers do all that. These are pretty easy to install, though you do want to take time to make sure they are aligned properly before sticking them in place because the adhesive on the back side is pretty strong. You essentially just peel the protective layer from the back side to expose the thin film of adhesive, and stick them in place. In my case I was able to get them installed cleanly and to look at them you would never know they are add-ons. They even match the look (color) of the round wheel that they surround. What's perhaps best about these is that the company left cutouts in the adhesive strips to allow the backlights to shine through. It's perhaps not as bright as with the original factory buttons on there, but it's good enough. That shows an attention to detail that was lacking on some other similar type button covers I bought not so long ago for my windows. So, good thinking.Bottom line, I highly recommend these.

Nice Look, but Adhesive Could Be Stronger
I bought this 6-piece knob trim cover set for my 2013 Mercedes E-Class W212 to give the interior a small upgrade, and overall, it looks great once installed. The finish matches the OEM style nicely and adds a subtle touch of elegance to the center console area without being too flashy or over the top. However, the adhesive backing was a bit underwhelming at first. When I initially applied the covers, a couple of them didn’t stick firmly and felt loose around the edges. I had to press them down really hard and leave some weight on top overnight for them to stay put. After a day or two, they finally settled and have stayed in place since, but it took more effort than expected. If you’re planning to install these, I recommend thoroughly cleaning the surface with alcohol wipes and possibly using a little extra adhesive or double-sided tape just to be safe. Once secured, they do look really sharp and elevate the look of the controls. In short, the design is great, but the adhesive could be better out of the box. Still worth it if you’re willing to take a few extra steps during installation.
