Bit expensive but does the job well very well made

I purchased the Clear Sky Window Opener Pole to help me easily open and close our Velux skylight windows, which are otherwise out of reach. This product seemed like a practical solution, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations.The telescopic rod extends up to 2 metres, making it ideal for reaching high windows. The extra strong hook is sturdy and fits perfectly into the window and blind mechanisms. I found it incredibly easy to use, even on the first try. The pole itself feels robust and well-made, giving me confidence in its durability.One of the best features of this window opener pole is its compatibility with Velux windows. It securely hooks onto the window handle and allows me to open and close the window smoothly without any hassle. This has made ventilating our loft space much more convenient, especially on hot days when I want to let in some fresh air.The pole is also lightweight, which makes it easy to manoeuvre without straining my arms. It collapses down to a manageable size for storage, which is great for keeping it out of the way when not in use. The design is straightforward and practical, with no unnecessary frills.However, there are a couple of minor improvements that could be made. The pole could benefit from a softer grip handle to make it more comfortable during prolonged use. This is a very useful telescopic Velux opener pole because those windows bring in extra light but they're usually in very awkward places to reach. As is, they open bedroom windows in the upstairs extension but, with the telescopic option – instructions are in a label on the pole itself – it opens the previously unreachable window over the stairs.I did find the telescopic opening difficult initially until I worked it out – hold the pole and twist the metal bit at the top but it took a few goes to release it before it opened and it can still be a little sticky – then lock the extension with a twist. And watch your finger as you close it. Just shut mine in it.I had hoped to give it an alternate use to open standard windows, as well, but it didn't work out – neither is it intended to do so. However, it does close them which saves risking my back trying to close the cloakroom and lounge's top windows. It even helps pull the handle down into lock position. I'm really happy with it, 4* but really a 4.5* as the telescopic option is great but is a little sticky on my pole

This is a very effective and sturdy window opener, especially for the loft velux windows.The pole is extendable and very sturdy and the hook/pusher screws onto the top well.The hook works well to get onto opening bar and pulls it down well to open the window. The hook also has a flat top part which works well also to push the bar up to close the window.This really helps to not have to get onto a chair to open and close the velux windows.

My sky window opener is thick and strong. I like that it is easily adjustable. The hook screws securely on the top. The pole is adjustable by twisting the bottom half to loosen, I pulled the top half up to the correct length and then re-twisted the bottom the other direction.The instructions are on a sticker on the handle, no having to look for a bit of paper.Our sky window is in the middle of my mother’s bedroom ceiling. My sky window opener had a very good grip on the catch so I was able to open and close mum’s window easily. Mum can now open her window using the pole without standing on her bed, much safer.I like that the pole can be adjusted as I can also store it easily.
