Krutex Skipper Pet Travel Crate, Green, Size 2/55 cm

I had to get my rabbits to the vets. The vet lent me this box. It had been used a lot but remained sturdy and safe. The front door opens as a door or can be completely removed. The carrier can be fully opened by easily removing the clips holding it together. This was very helpful as my rabbits had an operation. It was a bit trickier to get back together but not difficult once I realised that the clips needed to be fully inserted. Bearing in mind that this was a heavily used box used by many different people for their pets without any complaint it is look lasting, easy to use/clean, safe, roomy and sturdy? It easily holds 2 Dutch dwarf rabbits (which is roughly 4.5kgs of rabbit). The ventilation holes are small enough to allow air to flow into the carrier but not to let the pets get cold. Since borrowing this box from the vets for a few weeks I then purchased my own one as I liked it so much.

I would absolutely not recommend this product. It is flimsy, the gate area is very small and I have always had a struggle getting my cat in it. The worst part of all are the little plastic latches all around the middle of this crate that need to be fixed into place to secure it. My product appears to have warped and the catches therefore will not all go into place. If you get the last one in, another one pops out. This means that the crate becomes dangerous to carry your pet in as there is the risk of it coming apart. A useless product. I've gone for the Cabrio now because at least I know it is sturdy.
