Chinese rubbish
Had the lawnmower 8 months. Its supposed to have a 2 backed warranty. The battery has gone faulty. Replacement battery not offered, support really bad, offhand, no replys to emails. The battery can not be bought from anywhere, so no warrenty, no replacement battery. The lawnmower has facility for a second battery, howevernot much use when can't buy a second battery. The advertising blurb states Samsung battery, Samsung have never heard of it, deduce what you will from that statement. I now have a piece of expensive Chinese junk. Beware do not buy this rubbish, the guarantee is not worth the paper it's written on, the address available for tacklife is in China so no recourse in law regarding taking the manufacturer to a small claims court is impossible.

I'm absolutely delighted! Did quite a lot of research and gambled on the small quantity of positive reviews. Ordered on Sunday after my old petrol mower finally died, it arrived on Tuesday. Cut the grass on Tuesday after charging the battery for about half an hour while I assembled the mower. Quick, easy, lightweight - the mower coped easily with my 4 areas of lawn and it looks fantastic. First impressions - very pleased!!

Worst Mower Ever
Tempted by the uniformly good reviews, I thought I'd try this cordless mower - Big Mistake!The Assembly instructions are a joke But I eventually got it together with the help of a techie neighbour.While putting it together I put the battery on charge, so it was fully charged when I tried mowing the lawn.Because the grass had grown during the wet spell I set the mower on the highest cut possible and fully expected to have to do it in two goes. Despite being on the highest setting the mower kept clogging in the grass chute and cutting out. Persevering the battery cut out after less than 15 minutes actual mowing so had to stop for over an hour while it recharged. I had to stop three times to unclog blockages, but manged to complete the lawn on the second charge - and that was the morning gone. Recharged the battery over lunch and set off to do the second cut reduced the cut height but not to the closest cut. Six unclogs and a further recharge and the lawn was finally cut. But because the mower doesn't collect grass very well, there were were streaks of grass in mounds where the collection box had spat it out. So having spent the best part of a day mowing a lawn that would have taken me a couple of hours at worst with my old corded mower the result was appalling.When I was out of action with a hip replacement, my neighbour had kindly kept my lawn in trim with a cordless mower - which he did on a single charge - so I decided to pay the extra and invest in the cordless Bosch Rotak and return the Techlife monstrosity. Although they accepted the return, they only refunded approximately £5 of the return postage. So as I had to use a more expensive courier than the one they had access to, I had to spend an additional £20 to rid myself of something which was clearly not fit for purpose. But the way I felt about the mower, I did feel this was money well spent.

Excellent Purchase
This is an excellent product that is easy to assemble, lightweight, powerful and much quieter than electric or petrol lawn mowers. Would recommend to anyone. I am now just waiting for Tacklife to bring out the spare battery so I can charge up both and be able to switch between them when one of them runs out.

Good Mower
I have to agree with the other reviews, it is easy to assemble and was so much easier to cut the grass than my hover corded mower. I will be mowing the grass much more often now ,as it is so easy and copes with my small but uneven lawn. It is less noisy than my hover mower, not too bad at all for noise. Extremely pleased with this cordless mower and Im glad I bought it.

Bought mower 8 months ago and used few times last summer. Battery will not charge. Seller did send replacement charger as said they had discovered fault but stillbattery wont charge and Mower useless. Seller now ignoring emails.The product is very light and not great quality but seemed good value for price but no good if only works for few months and Seller not prepared to replace or refund under warranty. I am trying to engage Amazon to help remedy.

Product discontinued
Having bought this product only this year I have been told by the company it is now discontinued. Aspare battery may be bought from them for £70, which os taking a liberty for a product no longer supplied.This machine therefore only has a life as long as the battery works. Now paying the price of not going with an established brand.

Shortlife Tacklife
Initially fine - did the job & were pleased with it. Was concerned from the start that we could not get a second battery as back up. It has now gone the way of other reviewers comments & simply will not charge up.So less than a year from purchase we have to go to the expense of buying a replacement - it will not be from Tacklife!Amazon need to consider better quality control on items they sell & compensation for those of us who suffer.Buyer beware maybe but also seller beware - will take my money elsewhere.
