was looking to get away from a dymo, this printer has saved us so much time not having to mess with the lable chips the dymo had, and its networking is great. would recomend this for any animal clinic who needs a label printer.

This is a high-quality thermal label printer and will likely handle whatever volume you can throw at it. if you print a lot of labels that are 2" wide, this printer is what you want. If, however, you need to print 4"x6" shipping labels or anything more than 2" labels, this isn't it. The ethernet connectivity sets it apart, making it possible to print from multiple workstations. The quality of this printer is second-to-none and if you're looking at it, you likely only need to print 2" labels a lot. So long as you know what you're getting, you will not be disappointed.

Prints labels quickly and clearly. Small footprint and easy to integrate into existing systems.

The software was missing several critical basic functions. The printer was unable to print a self test.

The ad says that you get model: ZD4A022-D01E00EZ but what was sent is model: ZD4A022-D0EE00EZ. I am not sure what the difference is between the two, but I know there is a difference in the code of the models. It is easy to set up. When you plug it in, it prompts you to the setup steps and it works on the network with the ethernet cable. It comes with a usb that has Jetset software on it. Just just plug in the usb and the software runs on the usb without needing to install it. It takes up a usb port unless you copy and install the software on your own, but it is kind of a pain to have to do that. The software is pretty basic and antiquated but it works ok. Oh, yuou do have to go to the website to download the driver or the printer will not be recognized by Windows. You can create bar codes, QR codes, address labels or other types of labels. The label size can be adjusted, but you have to first change it in the Zebra driver, then configured in the JetSet software. It prints clearly and the paper feeds just fine. It is a nice quality machine and good software included. I am not sure if the value is worth it or not, since you dont get the printer that the ad says you will get. I am not sure what specs you are missing out on or if they sent a better printer than the original ad said. The printer does all of the tasks that the ad claims, so it is accurate as far as the description.

I'm a business owner and we use a number of Zebra products at work. They're perfect for an enterprise setting--well made, functional, durable, easy to work with, etc. This is a thermal label printer and it's all of the above and completely 'on brand' for Zebra. We make thermal labels that are used for a variety of purposes. They're always clear, sharp and smear free and the printer itself is nearly indestructible. You just can't go wrong with Zebra. Highly recommended!

First things first. Though it can be used as such, this is not really a thermal printer intended for home use. The eyebrow-raising price tag of this thermal printer should kinda convey that fact to you. Furthermore, it is somewhat well known that Zebra thermal printers are designed and built for high-volume commercial use. Hence the elevated price point. And this ZD411 printer isn’t even close to the price of Zebra’s most expensive thermal printers.And with that said, if you are looking for a commercial-quality thermal printer, this ZD411 printer outstanding. It’s a direct replacement for their tried-and-true ZD410 printer, which was/is an extremely durable and reliable printer. Which is exactly what you need most from a printer in a commercial setting where your equipment just has to work/perform as expected or something close to chaos will very likely ensue.And lastly, I’ve been using this ZD411 printer for a little over a month now. It prints crisply/beautifully, and it has worked without an issue of any kind. So yes, I recommend it.
