This is exactly what I needed. I live in an apartment complex and since they never have screen doors, I had to make my own. Got the magnetic mesh screen to keep the bugs out and got the gate to keep my cats in. The gate was super easy to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes and I did it by myself. (No man needed lol) It’s sturdy and unlike other reviews I’ve seen for other gates similar to this one, the latch and lock do not seem like they’ll break. One thing I wasn’t expecting, is that the magnets on the screen connect to the gate. It gives it a very put together, clean look. The other thing that sold me on this one instead of any of the other ones, is the gate door is wider than most. I don’t have to turn sideways to walk in. I’m 5’8” 190lbs. I highly recommend this product to my fellow apartment peeps that have animals.

This gate is perfect if you have a dog and a cat.s like my daughter. It was easy to assemble and fit her kitchen doorway so nicely. She has a pitwieller doggy thats like boxer height. And it is so sturdy, her dog can't knock it out. The latch works well and is easy to open and close. The thing she loves most is the cat door at bottom. Her cats took right to it and went thru so they can go everywhere they want!..including the doggy room which use to be there's;) You can position the cat door to the ht. you want and it stays put at that level. It is def. tall enough for all dog sizes. We were so glad my daughter went w/this gate instead of a cage/crate option for her doggy, her being pretty big and came from the shelter so really didnt want her stuck in a cage like before, when her mommys at work. Its also handy to put your pets behind gate when ya wanna eat in peace...the white is very pretty in her kitchen and looks nice. The dog can't push the cat door up w/its nose either, it's sturdy too. It's just a really good product.

So easy to install, looks great and the latch is really easy to maneuver. I was looking for something to keep the dogs in a certain area of the house, but that we could go in and out of really easily. This is perfect! Would definitely recommend.

This is a very nice gate for the price. The only problem is that the instructions don't tell you that the bolts don't actually screw into the bolt holes. I was prepared to return it until I watched the installation video that showed that you just slide the bolt into the bolt hole, put the gate in place, align it, then tighten it with the plastic nut and the metal key. The bolts don't screw in.

Super strong. There were no instructions in the box but I was able to easily slap it together. It is sturdy and my shepherd can’t get past it. It also is more slightly on the eye than most baby gates and has a wider opening to walk through when opened. Perfect for when the cats need a break from the dog and for keeping the dog out of the room with the litter box!

Relatively easy to assemble. The latch system is easy to work, even with my arthritic fingers. The lift up cat door was a nice feature. This was the perfect solution to safely separating initially, & then slowly introducing my newest cat to her feline siblings.

This is not cat proof. We received this gate on April 8th. It is a good quality gate, easy to open/close and sturdy. However, after 4 days our determined, athletic cat was able to jump to the top and pull himself over and escape! 'Just wanted those who were shopping for a "cat proof gate" to know before buying.
