VMC Vmc Weedless Neko Hook Size Black Nickel Package of 5

I generally try to Texspose my rigs but find in slop the bait will be dragged down enough to expose the hook point and weeds will snag on the point. I was skeptical the fluro weed guards would work but thought that if I could reduce the number of times I have to stop to clean off the rig before the next cast even a little bit, I would have my lure in the water that much more. I was surprised that the guards worked pretty well. Still had to clean the lure of but not nearly as often and a lot of time a flip and dunk would knock it off. Hooks are sharp and the line of pull with the hook point and eye five a good set.

I use these for wacky riggin in light cover. Very pleased

These are my favorite for wacky worms. The hookup ratio is very good. Weed guard works good on grass , not so much on wood.After a bunch of catches the mono guard tends to slide down but a little glue would cure that.

Use these for senko's around laydowns and docks. Pretty weedless. Have only been snagged a couple of times. Works as expected.

I started using these hooks right after they came out, and they're by far the best on the market right now. The flurocarbon guard is invisible in the water, but more importantly it doesn't mess with the action of your bait and it allows you to fish deeper in cover because it snags so much less.I generally prefer the #2 for most applications, although if you are nekoing larger worms (big senkos, magnun trick worms, or even 10in worms) you may want to upgrade a few sizes, although I rarely go past 1/0.

Caught some fish with these hooks. But, I like eagle claw with the metal keeper better.
