Great buy
Perfect for what I need it for. Not as sturdy or as user friendly as polar but works great and an excellent price

Works fine once it finally connects.
Just received this today and I wasn't sure if it would work or not. I have a nordictrack x22i and I read mixed reviews about it connecting to ifit on nordictrack. Some say it connects while others say it does not. For me if I go into my account settings and then Bluetooth it takes a while for this heart rate monitor to show up but eventually it does show up. Then getting it to connect is pretty slow. I would have to click on connect a few times before it actually connected. Once it connected, it stayed connected throughout my workout. Then my wife tried using it and it wouldn't connect for her. She started a workout and then went into Bluetooth accessories. Heart rate monitor is visible but after clicking connect multiple times and it failing time after time I then stopped her workout and connected by going into settings then Bluetooth and I think it was third or fourth attempt at connecting it's finally connected. With her the heart rate was WAY off. On me it was accurate, on her it wasn't even close. I will try this out a few times more and update this review.***Update. I came back to add a star! After using it a bit more, over a week actually, it has connected without any issues. Not only is it connecting faster but it's been pretty accurate too. I'm pretty happy with it at this point and if it doesn't fall apart I would buy it again. My only concern is the buttons on the band. It doesn't seem like it's reinforced much so I wonder if the buttons will tear off over time. I'm using it several times throughout the day so if buttons tear I will be back hear with an update. If there is no update it's safe to assume it's holding strong with no issues.

Wildly inaccurate is mine defective?
I tested this against two heart rate monitors that I use that are inconvenient. I bought 5e chest strap fir convenience. First, I went through maybe 12 apps to find one that would connect. The only one that worked is the Polar Beat app. It still struggled to connect and it took time get the heart rate. Maybe 5 minutes after wearing it the heart started. It was immediately incorrect. My resting heart rate is not 98, lol. So I checked it against my other monitors and they had me at 78 and 80. I got on an elliptical and did my normal routine. I can tell when my heart rate is getting up to my max. The Coospo still said 98. My other monitors said 145 and 148. 10 minutes later the coospo said my heart rate was 165. The other two were at about 155. It stayed at 165 even when I purposely made my heart rate go above 180. Coospo said 165. I let my heart rate drop to about 150 and the coospo slowly went down to 160, then quickly back to 165.When I was above 180 I could feel it. The coospo said I was 165. Either my unit is defective or it is garbage. On my cool down it went so slowly down. Wildly inaccurate.

Better than the Wahoo!
Since I got seriously into cycling a couple years back, I knew I needed to monitor my heart while riding, so I looked around for monitors to buy. I originally ordered this, but it didn't arrive in the delivery window, and I got refunded for it. But then it arrived a couple weeks later and I got to keep it. But in that time I'd already bought the equivalent Wahoo version of the monitor and thought I wouldn't even use this one. Once I started using the Wahoo however, I was having to constantly pull over to reboot the blasted thing because it kept reading my pulse way too low. This involves removing the battery cover, pulling out the battery, waiting about 10 seconds, and then replacing the battery. What a pain. While the Wahoo is a little more accurate in giving me my pulse, this one has been WAYYYY more reliable. I've never had to stop because it wasn't giving me correct info and it pairs to my computer every single time without complaint. While I wish battery life were a little better, if you get a good battery and you're not out every single day, you could see more than 6 months using this one. Just keep spares on hand just in case. As for the app, I don't know anything about it, I just use my Garmin Edge to keep me apprised of my pulse. I was pleasantly surprised with this little piece of kit and how it's performed so much better than a big name brand. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who loves cycling as much as I do. It's reasonably comfortable too although practice adjusting the strap, as it can be a bit of a pain when doing it for the first time. CooSpo can take my money anytime!
