Worth every penny, however the charger broke, as many others have complained, almost instantly. Since I was doing a brushless upgrade it wasn't a big deal for me. Way faster and better built then my Latrax and that's without ever being able to actually charge the factory battery. If you plan on keeping the car brushed, nothing wrong with it plenty fast from the factory, buy a decent charger or change the factory leads and enjoy. DO NOT expect the factory charger will work. It's crap and they'd be better off not including it. It was only a capacitor that went bad, a simple fix. However there are approximately 0 schematics that tell the specification of that capacitor and I tried 4 different ones none of which worked. I ended up deciding since it charges lipos it wasn't worth the risk to fix. Put too large of a capacitor in next thing you know it's charging to 4.8 volts. Just expect you need a charger from the beginning and problem solved.Update: I just bought a Typhon and the exact same thing happened. So it's definitely the charger. Skip this unless you want it as a chassis. In other words you plan to go brushless from the start or buy a new charger.

what a great little car. not the fastest but its right in the sweet spot where its fast enough to be super fun and it handles and jumps great. the clipless body system is the best. for the price you have to have one of these in your fleet. super durable too. I've bashed it for dozens of packs and have yet to break anything.

This is my first "small" RC car. Really impressed by the quality of build. This thing can take a beating. It's designed so very little dirt and rock make it inside. Very clever. Your stuck with the Spektrum format unless you change electronics. The supplied charger seems cheesy but it works for now. It only handles 2s but that's alright, it goes fast enough. All in all for the money, you can't go wrong.

The media could not be loaded. I love this RC car. But while this thing is incredibly durable, it has one major flaw: the differentials have plastic components and will need to be replaced (for reference, my rear differential was toast after 10 days). I bought the all metal diffs and plan on installing them and continuing rallying this amazing rc. I recommend this despite this sad design flaw.

This little truck is an absolute blast! I already own the larger Mojaves, so I couldn’t resist picking up the smaller version. Took it to the skate park on its first run alongside the Mojave 4S, and they actually handle pretty similarly in that environment. I threw a brushless conversion on it, which was a blast, but at full speed, it was a bit too much for the tight quarters of the park—fun but kind of hard to control.The controller is a great design, small enough for kids to handle easily, yet still feels comfortable in adult hands. The three power modes are a fantastic touch—perfect for younger drivers or when you want to reign in the truck a bit. With the brushless upgrade, you can hit 50mph in 100% mode, but if you need to tame it down, the 50% setting brings it back to a more sensible speed for safer fun.It doesn’t need a brushless conversion to be fun it’s great as is and if you decide you want more power or any other upgrades they’re readily available here on Amazon. It went out of control at 50+ mph and nothing has broken it’s hardly even scratched somehow. All in all an awesome purchase!

We bought this car for our 11 yr old. He drove it for about 5 minutes under adult supervision. He drove it up and down a paved road, but the 4 wheel drive in back didn't seem to work properly. We assumed it was just a dude and we returned it to the box and requested a return. Which processed right away. HOWEVER, we were CHARGED an $85.00 Restocking fee! BUY ELSEWHERE.

This RC truck is a fantastic entry point for anyone wanting to get into RC bashing. The Mojave Grom delivers a great balance of performance, durability, and value. It's a truly enjoyable RC that provides hours of entertainment.The fact that it is a brushed motor vehicle, also makes it a great vehicle for those who are new to the RC world. Nice little car. Bought this for my 9 year old to start out with. It’s still fast being brushed and nice that it has the gyro to keep it from losing control to easily. Should make for a great starter car and is a reasonable price. Car comes ready to run with a controller, battery and charger.
