This didn’t come with instructions for how to wrap it in what way, you just get the image of its final form on the box. It also didn’t stabilize my elbow very well… hard pass.

Item:Elbow Wraps for Weightlifting – Elbow Sleeves Men – 40" Elbow Straps for Weight Lifting – Coderas para Gym – Elbow Support Powerlifting (1 Pair)Packaging:Packaging was ok. The wraps were placed in a thin box, looks like a product box you would find in a store. Not a lot of protection but due to the nature of this item shipping damage is quite minimal.Material Quality:The wraps are made out of a heavy duty fabric with Velcro parts. There is an elastic element to it as well.Assembly/Build Quality:The wraps seem well made enough. The wraps do seem heavy duty and sturdy. They are fairly thick and The Velcro section seems large enough to hold well.Marketing Material:The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) for the most part represent the product well. There is no misrepresenting here and everything is as it looks in the picture. I have two main issue: there were no instructions of any kind on how to actually wrap them. There is a small loop on each one that I am not sure if the wrap goes into it or what. There is one image that highlights this loop and a couple other features but its all in german so still don’t know what it is for. If you are going to sell to English speaking countries, make sure your listing is fully translated maybe?.Functionality:As I mentioned, there are no instructions so I am not quite sure how these things work. Looking at the main picture on the listing it is impossible to wrap them like that on your arm unless your arm is as small as a garden hose. Also, wrapping them as close as possible to that image makes them extremely uncomfortable to wear. The thick fabric digs into your are when you bend your elbow. There are a couple picture of a guy wearing them but it looks like they are basically on his forearms. I am not sure how this protects the elbow. It offers no support, it just wraps around your forearm and still digs into your arm when you flex. It was my understanding that the wrap should start below your elbow and wrap around to above it, or vice versa. To me that would offer elbow protection, but as I mentioned, you simply cannot wrap it like that with this design.Price:This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $12.95. This would be a good price if I knew how this thing was supposed to work.Likes:I liked the idea of having elbow support, sometimes when I lift heavy I can feel the strain on that joint and wanted to have a little extra support.Dislikes:I don’t like how there is no instructions or that it doesn’t seem to be able to wrap above and below the elbow for true support.Overall:I would recommend this item if I knew how it was supposed to be wrapped, but it is not intuitive as well it does not seem to be long enough to offer above and below protection. Maybe that’s not the point of it, but if not, then it would be nice to have some instructions to understand better how it is supposed to be used. I give it 3-stars because it does seem to be made well enough at least and the price is reasonable. But needs some instructions.

They are decent quality elbow straps but buying this cheap product was a reminder to me that quality should come before price in certain situations.

I use these elbow wraps when moving heavy objects, such as rocks and cement bags. They are quick to wrap the elbows and provide a confident support to help prevent injuring the elbow joints and tendons. With the hook-and-loop closure, they are simple to adjust, while they do not slip up or down the arm. I expect long-lasting durability, based on the solid construction and feel of the materials.

These elbow wraps are 40" long each and can be difficult to put on by yourself. There were no real good instructions or guides on how to properly put these on, or techniques shown on how to wrap these, so it was a lot of trial and error to figure it out. I had to help my husband out these on each time he used them, so keep in mind that you may need assistance in putting these on also.The support these elbow wraps is decent but not great. I think they are good for normal weightlifting but not for heavy lifting or powerlifting. The fabric and workmanship of these wraps seem good and durable, so I think they will last a while if taken care of and washed.Overall I give them an average rating if 3 stars and recommend them for novice to beginner weightlifting.
