These strips are very easy to use and the results are easy, straightforward to read. You do have to work very quickly for accurate results but after using them a few times you’ll get a routine down and have no issues. You’re able to print this ebook right from their website as a PDF.Ordered these strips after clearing up algae that left us with insane cloudiness afterwards that we couldn’t clear no matter what we tried. Spent a few hundred dollars at our local pool store on all their recommended chemicals that didn’t work. Took in multiple water samples for them to tell us everything was perfectly within normal range but “here use this, it’ll clear ya right up”. These strips immediately showed us our chlorine & bromine levels were off the charts too high, alkalinity way too low. Once correcting those levels we’re slowly getting back to crystal clear water. I highly recommend these strips, we’ve added these as a product to purchase yearly for our very short Northeast Ohio pool seasons.

We use these for our kids above ground pool. The pool itself is 12’x33” and doesn’t have its own chemical system so, this is an easy way to measure the chlorine, ph and other levels. It’s very important that you do a quick dip and then lay it flat because I’ve noticed that the colors can sometimes run together. Good value, I would purchase again.

I had been using test strips from this company that were a year old and stored in my pool house, which is not airconditioned. My readings were not accurate, and after spending time reading about test strips, I knew I needed to get a fresh container. These have been much more accurate, although I have had a challenge getting the pH and the Alkalinity strips to agree. The pH was continually low, even after adding a pH increaser several times.

Easy way to keep an eye on your pool status. Works great! I take samples of my pool water occasionally to a local business to have the water tested just to make sure I'm keeping the pool balanced properly. These strips seem to match up well to the pro tests and rarely do they recommend anything. Most of the time they can't believe nothing is needed. These test strips keep me well informed.

So far, so good - switching up to these strips recently after using another brand for about a year and a half. Seems to be doing the trick and seems to be testing the water accurately. Comes in a fairly compact bottle to protect the strips, which is nice. There is still a year until the bottle I received expires, so I shouldn’t have a problem using them by then. I’ve only been using these a short time, but they seem to perform well and provide reliable and easy to read results. I’d say at this point these provide good bang for your buck.

After purchasing these and storing in the shed. I finally opened a new bottle after finishing another brand of strips. The free chlorine reading was zero. I put shock in the water and adjust my pH and strip reads the next day still zero free chlorine. I cleaned my salt water chlorine generator and added more shock. Next two days, zero free chlorine. Take sample of water to Leslie's and their reading has plenty of free chlorine. She said the strips can't take storing in the heat. I had some old, cheap strips in the same hot shed and tried them out and it read sufficient free chlorine. So, if you get these, don't store in the heat.

We bought an 8 foot diameter kiddie pool with a pump/filter,only to discover the water turns green after a week or so!! we bought a floating chlorine dispenser and now the water is clear!you dip the strip in the water, wait 30 sec, and match the colors on the side of the bottle, easy-peasy!!

These JNW DIRECT pool test strips appear to give accurate readings (tested against rival strips) and must be working as my hot tub water hasn't gone (too) green, as it gives you fair warning of any deviation from the ideal parameters.
