The Rostrum

I was searching Amazon for a new book, when I ran across “The Rostrum.” What initially attracted me to this book, was the vast expertise and qualifications of the author, W.T. Sanders, to write a book about domestic terrorism and an extremist group’s potential efforts to overthrow our government. Mr. Sanders’ extensive experience in counter-terrorism and nuclear physical security, gives him unique insight and perspective to write a book on this topic. What his book effectively theorizes is how politically deviant individuals, feigning patriotism, could effectively influence otherwise normal Americans, to engage in extremist acts of political violence. Most interesting and very disconcerting, is the great detail in which Mr. Sanders describes various ambush and other scenarios, where small groups of dedicated extremists, could cause violent disruptions to our normal political activities, and cause mass casualties. He also effectively shows how our integrated law enforcement agencies, must act in unison to counter and defeat potential acts of violence by these politically motivated extremist groups. I highly recommend this outstanding book to anyone interested in reading about acts of domestic political terrorism and how it has potential to disrupt not only our political existence, but international stability as well.

This book kept me captivated page after page. It’s an easy read and hard to put down. Mr. Sander's great knowledge into the workings of several Federal agencies makes this book very credible and makes one think about current events. I look forward to his next book - what happenes to Collins?

My brother started writing this book many years ago. I got to read his initial draft then and now find he has really developed the story as I have read his recent offering.He has much professional experience in what is behind this story. He knows what he is writing about.Looking forward to the next book, bro!

First, I must say, the print type and font of this book are fantastic! Easy to read and set on white paper, so no eye strain, especially if you can’t put the book down and are reading for hours on end. The book starts in the historical past but occurs today, linking how events of the past can trigger or set into motion, actions on long held grievances. With all the uncertainty of todays political climate the events of this book are not farfetched and could be tomorrow’s headlines. A good read that will keep you intrigued!

This novel is engaging, suspenseful, well told and written by someone well educated and experienced to write such a novel. Once you pick it up and begin reading it, you will not want to put it down.
