I like the fact that this can be a standard skipping rope or an LED lit up one (rope) with the click of a button. Of course, the LED multi-coloured static lights need 2 x AAA batteries to work (not supplied) and you need to install in the jump rope handle within the battery compartment (unscrew the top of the handle that is not adjustable); you then require a Phillips screwdriver (small one supplied in box) to undo The battery compartment. The supplied one would not work for me and so I found another small Phillips screwdriver we had and this did the job.The box the skipping rope arrives in is decorated and quite attractive so suitable for gifting as is. Also inside the box, there is an instruction leaflet explaining how to install the batteries and also how to adjust the length of the rope. There's also a small section of charging the skipping rope with a cable but as the cable is not supplied then I assume this is not an option with this version (it says it is for the rechargeable battery version, which this one is not).Priced at £9.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, it always surprises me how expensive skipping ropes often are and so I suppose this price is not so bad compared to other skipping ropes. I would however prefer it were nearer £5. Even at around £10, it makes a nice gift or sticking filler and given that we're approaching the winter months when there is little daylight, a light up skipping rope might prove useful!

The media could not be loaded. My son loves this. He loves lights etc and wanted this to go with his light up skip it and light up Hula hoops.

Good bright lights and show up well in the dark.Bearing ends make use of the rope easier to skip.

Cheap made plastic, no more lights after 2 days...

Absolute rubbish. Not flexible at all and lasted just over month before the lights gave up. Now I have to argue with the manufacturer because it’s past 30 days. Just avoid all together
