I am a Shea Moisture advocate. The African Black Soap moisturizer has been my face's life-saver for years now. That version is definitely mattifying, and I think of this moisturizer as the glow-up version. As it says, it's priming, and it creates a radiant base for the rest of your routine. I use this in the morning because I love the intense hydration it gives me, but I usually put on a mattifying primer afterward (also by Shea Moisture, hey). The texture is thick and creamy, the scent is soft and fresh, it spreads slightly oily, but never irritates me. Most things will immediately cause redness on my face, but I only see a glow here!

I found this product in a sample size at Target and I was so happy with the results. It was light on my skin and helped my makeup go on smoothly! It also gave my skin a natural glow. Couldn’t find it again at Target or any other beauty stores. Search everywhere for it and so happy I found it on Amazon. Great product!

Amazing stufff

I bought this not listening to the other review that said it was glittery and well, it's glittery. I have light skin and it made me look like one of those Wizard of Oz characters. Not only was it glittery, it kinda chunked up on the dry parts of my face and looked really weird. Smells great and felt pretty good otherwise. Maybe I put too much on. If you use it lightly and wear foundation over it, it might be ok. I don't wear foundation though, so it's a no go for me.

I bought it thinking it was going to be more moistureing to the sense it soaked into my skin, but it’s more like a thick pomade smells nice coconuty and I like the gold sheer effect it leaves looks nice glowy by itself I just add on more on my high points on my face that super highlight effect love it throw on some lashes lip gloss and go. I also noticed it mixed well with my foundation and has helped it not flake off cuz I have super dry skin this product is good as a primer.

This product is okay. Kinda of sketchy to be honest, not sure how i feel about this one. It seems to good to be true. The gist is obvious, trying to multitask for many things. It’s kinda sketchy for me because it smells a bit weird like expired milk with a hint of coconut but also it’s glittery. When i applied it to my skin, it had a sort of color to it like foundation. Also it’s sketchy how another company is reselling it. The company itself is sketchy. When i ordered it, the product came the next day which is really fast. I am a person who has eczema and has white patches all over my skin, i wanted to try this since i was tired of my white patches i had in my arms. It’s day one of using it, no irritations, no redness, so i’m guessing that’s good…. Just some things i wanted to point out were that it was glittery, thick, felt like foundation and looked like foundation in skin, it wasn’t sealed correctly either. When i opened the cream, the packaging was normal and good. The lid however was not totally closed it was closed but not to its extent maximum capacity. Usually creams come in sealed or capped well. This one however, was different. I tried it on my eczema redness scar. And it immediately healed my scar that i got from having eczema which surprised me. It didn’t immediately take away the white patches, still going to wait a whole week to see if this cream works.Main idea: kinda sketchy product if you ask me, i mean the company isn’t really reliable and the product was not sealed to its capacity and it’s glittery and thick and it looks like foundation when applied to skin. Plus, it came really quick. Overall it’s your choice if you wanna buy it. I might be risking my life at this point. I’ll write another review when 7 days have passed by. It really depends if you wanna risk it or not.

I do like this product very much. It adds moisture to my face while providing a good primer prior to applying my makeup. I soon learned that I needed to apply less than I was using at first, but soon found just the right amount to use. It also provided just the right illumination to help give me a healthy glow.

Natural product with no harmful ingredients. Goes on smooth and has a bit of a glow to it on my skin. I use it under my sunscreen and make up for a dewy look.
